Beautiful place to stay in a quiet area in Ubon Ratchathani with a pool, easy access to malls, stores, restaurants, night markets, temples plus lovely and helpful stuff.

Spend your road... pity about Ubon Ratchathani...

We slept (or tried to sleep here to be more precise ..) for 3 consecutive nights (3 nights because arrived from Laos at the end of the day, the town of Ubon R deserves a more in-depth visit (than the tourist guides suggest: plethora of original temples, very interesting regional museum, various buildings, etc .. and this despite the low offer in terms of hotel and restaurant - let's close the bracket). Returning to the De Lit, a situation a little away from the main bld of the city in a neighborhood a priori quiet, but disturbed by the incessant barking of a crazy dog (150m a dirty "clebard" whose owners care little refuge behind their shutters .. ). The hotel has developed (but for how many years?) the concept of the "not finished": dirty limed walls, stained carpets, omnipresent dust, broken bathroom tiles, dark and low pt room, dubious tablecloths... useless balcony, architecture that wants Greek-Moorish... everywhere dried or not flowers, real insect nests, spiders and others... and the pompom will remain the pool not very engaging with its deckchairs collapsed, filled with dry leaves... The swimming pool, which is essentially used as a mosquito incubator... You can't sleep until 2:00 in the morning after you've fought a hunt worthy of epic battles... So the score of 2 is a reward for the staff at the lunch pt who do original things with a smile... for the rest.... I forgot that aware of its shortcomings, the management chose to coax its customers with a mini bar renewed daily and free! Expensive price for the experience, advance payment on a known platform around 60 E (for 2 with pt dej).

Greek style hotel in city environment

Hotel is central to ubon and situated of a main road
Previous reviews remark it has a greek style and it does definitely
Staff were superb and makes up for the fact that the hotel needs a bit of TLC... but ... The euro looks and welcome drink etc overcome any negativity to the hotel .. WILL VISIT AGAIN

It was a delightful stay. Super friendly and efficient staff. Great breakfast. Quiet and clean room. I will be happy to stay there again.
