Restaurant Benicia

I’m very surprised about very good service level and quality of fishes in the restaurant; the choice is not big but few chosen dishes were tasty, well served and also inside the local everything was ok ; the cuisine is typical bit not so heavy , prepared in a professional way ; the dessert pancake-4 stars

Professional staff, nice place close to Benesov

Business hotel with restaurant - ideal for business trips. Nice place between the Benesov city and famous Konpiste castle. Very good restaurant with wide selection of fresh, tasty meals. Good beer and selection of wines and drinks. Nice seatings outside in the garden with the swimming pool.

Costly for the value

The hotel is the typical building from nineties, equipment is little older, but rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was nice and helpful, we tried only pizza and it was ok. The breakfast is the Czech "standard" so little disappointment like in most hotels in this country. It is very nice walk to Konopiste castle which is nearby. The value for money isn't really great, I believe they targeting to travelers passing by and football teams which probably trains at the surrounding playground. The complete pain was a noise coming from the attic produced by some ventilator, I guess. It was so loud I couldn't fell a sleep. No reason to come back.

Went above and beyond

We had booked a room using an online booking agent, and somehow the hotel never got the reservation. Despite the fact that most of the hotel was under construction and also they were very full, Misha went out of her way to make sure we had a place to sleep and she seemed to work very hard to make sure all of the guests were comfortable, morning and night!

Clean, strategic, but overpriced, old and "unforgettable" breakfast.....

Post-communist style, old-fasioned but clean (not the swimming pool), closed to the road.
Horrendous breakfast and even worst manners from the waitress; on the other hand, kind receptionists.
If you go by car, good location to travel around (no way if you want to go for a walk on foot)
Absolutely overpriced :-(
