If you have to stay in Brutal

IF you have to stay, then you have to. This is straight out of the Communist era - the lists are simply scary (if they're working).
The room is basic, but clean. Likewise in the bathroom (which seems to have been renovated), you have a separate toilet with no hand basin,
There are people living there, it smelt like the people some floor below was boiling cabbage with socks from the balcony,
Breakfast - if you can fight your way through you may get a sandwich or something basic.

Only option if you wanna an hotel in Bruntál

The hotel is close to Bruntál castle and gardens, it is the best solution even it is under reconstruction. Don’t get scared. Inside still functional. The staff is nice people, some English, polite to customers.
Inside is communist time style and there are offices and labs in different floors.
Parking in front is easy but not under supervision so watch out!
After all, best price/quality Bruntál can offer to you.

Basic hotel

The hotel is from the communist era, the exterior is not very well maintained, rusty here and there. Entering the reception the place looks abandoned, but the staff was friendly. Apparently they repurposed around half the hotel rooms into offices and and long term apartments for workers. All in all it doesn't affect the stay since those are on different floors.
I got a smoking room without being asked, however it did not smell of smoke at all. The room was basic at most, but looked clean. The bathroom was somewhat refurbished, not bad at all. Only one mini soap bar was provided, no shower gel or shampoo.
The breakfast is served at the lobby (pic 2) and it's ok. Not a lot of choice, coffee weak like brown water.
All in all not bad if you're not picky, but certainly not a 3star hotel. It's cheap and includes breakfast. See pictures.

В связи с работой в данном городе, живём в этом отеле уже 3 месяца. Впечатление отвратительное. Уборка на плохом уровне, с горячей водой постоянные проблемы. В кухне вообще мыть посуду невозможно, в ванной иногда можно словить тёплую, но не горячую. Неоднократно обращались на ресепшн, результата нет. Есть прачечная, в которой можно постирать одежду, естественно платно, так вот там не убирают вообще. Одеяла, которые выдали, подойдут только человеку ростом не выше 1,50. Наши знакомые заселились в номер, так они даже мусор и бутылки выносили за предыдущими постояльцами, про грязный кавролин и пыль я вообще молчу. Мебель вся старая поизношенная. Если бы работодатель не оплачивал нам это жильё, ноги моей бы здесь не было

pokój 519 >>> starego typu, ale duży i czysty, BEZ BALKONU

Podczas naszego pobytu (lipiec 2018) budynek hotelu z zewnątrz był w trakcie remontu - chyba termomodernizacja.
Wnętrze starego typu - ale czysto.
Obsługa - miła i uśmiechnięta, pomocna.
Trzy windy - ale chyba tylko dwie do dyspozycji gości (dość spore).
Duży pokój 519 dla niepalących (tak przynajmniej był oznakowany), BEZ BALKONU.
Śniadanie w formie bufetu O.K., bardzo dobra strucla (bułka słodka czy jak tam zwą), poza tym tradycyjnie: wędlina, ser żółty, płatki, herbata, parówki, pieczywo itd.
Mały TV LCD, lodówka, łóżko niby małżeńskie, ale O.K., wyposażenie starego typu ale sprawne i czyste. Łazienka O.K., czysta, chociaż trochę ciasna kabina i brak suszarki do włosów. Ale za kaucją pożyczyliśmy z recepcji.
Hotel położony w centrum, parking przed hotelem, niedaleko market.
Podejrzewam, że po remoncie wygląd/estetyka hotelu znacznie się poprawi i opinie również.
