Excellent base for visiting the surroundings and enjoying local dishes
Beautiful farmhouse renovated following the canons of traditional structures, in the Czech countryside on the border between Germany and Poland. Excellent base for visiting the Bohemian paradise and neighboring countries. Excellent breakfast and dinner with a good wine list. The structure has a nice riding school

Mix of good, bad and very bad
Zamecky dvur Cernousy is set in a lovely location about 15 minutes drive from Frydlant on the Polish border and about 40 minutes from Liberec. The hotel is recently reconstructed and has stables and horse riding facilities as well as an outdoor playground and banquet rooms for weddings.
We stayed in the 3 bedroom family apartment above the stables with 2 families and 5 children. The apartment was extremely basic. No rugs, very little storage space, no decorations on the walls (unless you count what seemed to be hundreds of ladybugs) and a very poorly equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable enough, but we weren't given enough towels, a broom to clean up and we didn't have enough chairs, plates or cups for the kitchen to be useful. Also, while the hotel said there was an oven, and Booking.com indicated there would be an elevator and a second bathroom, we did not have these things for our room. For families with a stroller, it would not be comfortable to get to the room, and for handicapped guests, it would be very difficult.
The staff at the hotel was friendly enough, though sometimes a bit distant or unable to address our questions or concerns. Our main problems were with the restaurant, however. For dinner, we were told to come after 7 when they'd have time to make our food. We did so once, and still waited at least 45 minutes for our food. The second time, we arrived at 7:05 and were told the restaurant was closed - a wonderful surprise with kids and when all local stores were closed for the holiday. We tried the restaurant for lunch as well, and waited 45-60 minutes for our food - nearly every other guest in the restaurant received food faster than we did despite the fact that only one other table arrived before us. The food was good, but really nothing special, and prices were Prague-level where they likely should not have been.
The one part of the hotel that deserves high praise is the stable - the staff there were great and extremely helpful and patient. Our kids had a great experience with the horses. It's a shame this part of what could be a nice hotel was dragged down by other parts of the experience.

Quiet, cozy, magic place
We visited Zamecky dvur with two pre-school daughter. Though we have arrived late in the evening the room was arranged for us - spacious, functional and very clean apartment, newly equiped and light.
The place is situated on the edge of a small village and the only sounds in the morning were those of the birds.
We had our breakfast in the terrace, food was very fresh and hosts were very warm and friendly.
We were even able to arrange for our daughters a pony ride in the morning - in fact it seemed they have ridden a small horse :)
The stables in the mansion were also renovated and were interesting to visit.

Malebné místo na konci světa
Velmi milým překvapením pro mě byla rekonstrukce rozsáhlého areálu Zámeckého dvora. Jak se tady na severu říká “na konci světa” (nebo snad na jeho začátku) se není za co stydět! Malebné prostředí Česko-polského příhraničí krášlí již několik let zdařile opravené budovy “zámečku”. Pokoje, které areál nabízí, jsou nově, moderně a účelně vybaveny, a jsou především čisté. Recepci ubytování zajištuje obsluha restaurace, pozdější příjezdy nejsou tedy překážkou. Restaurace je taktéž nově a vkusně vybavena. Menu se pravidelně obměňuje a tak ani stálý klient netrpí na stereotypní jídelní lístek. Velice ráda vzpomínám na lososa v bylinkové krustě s gratinovanými bramborami - naprosto vynikající. Kuchyně Zámeckého dvora pro mě byla vždy jednou z nejlepších na Frýdlantsku. Drobnou výtkou je jen někdy delší doba čekání na obsluhu, která je však velmi milá.
Není divu, že si toto místo velmi často vybírají páry k uzavření sňatku, a proto je třeba předem ověřit otevírací dobu restaurace, případně včasně rezervovat ubytování.
Návštěvu komplexu doporučuji všem, kteří si chtějí užit kombinaci krásného prostředí, výborné restaurace a božského klidu na “konci světa”.
Není divu, že si toto místo velmi často vybírají páry k uzavření sňatku, a proto je třeba předem ověřit otevírací dobu restaurace, případně včasně rezervovat ubytování.
Návštěvu komplexu doporučuji všem, kteří si chtějí užit kombinaci krásného prostředí, výborné restaurace a božského klidu na “konci světa”.

upadající restaurace
Chodili jsme sem na obědy, večeře i obědová menu již od začátku otevření restaurace a to docela často a bohužel musím říct, že to spěje ke špatnému konci. Personál je příšerný, servírka věčně vedle na drbech, protože ji vidíte stát za dveřmi okýnkem. Čekáte na jídlo, ačkoliv tam nikdo není, na obědnání i zaplacení. Vůbec ji nenapadne jít se podívat vedle, jestli někdo něco nepotřebuje nebo dorazil nový. Jídlo také čím dál horší, gratinované brambory se špenátem, kdy dostanete pouze olejovou břečku, maso studené i porce bývaly dříve větší, ale i tak jsou slušné. Když si stěžujete, vyřídí to v kuchyni a pak u placení pomlouvá kuchaře, že je otřesný, že ten druhý je lepší a podobně. Restaurace čistá, pěkná i toalety, s ubytováním nemáme zkušenost. Bohužel personál dělá ostudu tak krásnému prostředí.
