Delicious quisine!!!

We (8 men) went back from Euro 2016 to our country and were very hungry. In Pardubice we found this restaurant. It was like golden shot! Ordered 8 different dishes and each of them was delicious. Personally I took Italian pasta with vegetables and 3 kinds of meal. I was full up. Big portions. We back to Poland very happy with full bellies!!

Effected by Pandemic

It is a small pension (AKA B&B) in Pardubice. Rooms reminded me of 1970's. The restaurant was closed and the garden was open but nothing served there. The location is good, but how big is Pardubice, everywhere downtown is close by.
Clean sheets. Only Czech TV. Air conditioning available, and required as the sun enters the room directly from rooftop windows. The railroad and the main road is near by so a bit noise early in the morning.

Dated, overpriced, badly insulated

Given the price and the overall feel, I should have stayed elsewhere. The restaurant is closed and there is no proper wellness, so the advert is misleading… Poor insulation; I could hear all sorts of things from nearby rooms in the middle of the night. The maximum price should be 20-25 euros / night, not 50.

Nespokojený / not satisfied

Kdysi jsem zde měla svatbu, a před 10 lety bylo Birdie na úrovni. I proto jsem toto místo doporučila svojí návštěvě z Anglie. Když jsem druhý den přišla na pokoj, byla jsem nemile překvapená. Prach byl vidno všude, pod postelí chuchvalce, rodina údajně neměla ani vyluxovaný koberec, když se ubytovali . Děti cítili plíseň a vlhkost z postelí. Žádala jsem slevu, což bohužel nenapadlo personál automaticky. V podstatě jsem si musela doslova říct o nějakou kompenzaci, což byl vstup do solné jeskyně zdarma. Rodina toto nakonec odmítla z důvodu nedůvěry. Po kontaktování penzionu na email se mi dodnes nikdo neozval. Za mě tedy hodně špatný přístup a NEDOPORUČUJI!!!
I had my wedding here 10 years ago. By that time, we were very happy and the Birdie use to be really great place to stay. For this reason I had recommended this accommodation to my host family from London. When I arrived second day to their room I was pretty shocked. The dust was seen basically everywhere (it could not come out after few hours btw). The family said that even the carpet was not hoovered and children smelled the mould and dampness of the beds. I have to say I was disappointed and felt embarrassed with the hygiene level of this pension. I literally had to beg for any kind of compensation which should come automatically straight after mine complain! It didn't. At the end we were offered to get a free entry to the caves which was refused by my family. The price absolutely doesn't seem right to be charged for this standard place. Have stayed at a lot of places in Pardubice and never had any issues. Don't recommend this penzion at all.

This used to be a great restaurant

Unfortunately the staff has changed and so did the quisine and sevice. We waited for our meal for one hour without any explanation or appology. The quality of the meal was avarage, but the price high. Next time will try a different place and so should you.
