From walking in the front door the place smelt clean, excellent breakfast, great wifi, less than 10 minutes walk to two different beaches. They provided beach umbrella, chairs and towels. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Excellent option

Family hotel staffed by its owners. Excellent service. Comfortable and clean room. With frigobar. Very good breakfast. Excellent location. Good price. They lend chairs and umbrellas for the beach.

Simple, but close to everything

The hotel is simple, has no luxuries, but complies, is one block from the square and one from the port.
Central, very well located and with excellent service.
I recommend it to those looking for an accessible alternative, as it is close to all the interesting points on the peninsula.
I had no problems, they were very kind. Only the shower had little water pressure and breakfast every day was the same.
Outside those details, everything fine with the hotel, clean and tidy.

This is a solid classic 3 star hotel. The cleaning of the rooms were in my view impeccable. The bed was firm and just perfect. The decor of the room dated in a nostalgic way reminding me of hotels a long time ago. The breakfast options were of the basic variety, but it was still to an acceptable standard if not some tiring for a longer stay due to lack of variation. The room had a safe and we felt safe throughout the stay. Walls were thin, which was fine until a lady moved in next year who would yap yap until 02:30 in the morning on the phone. I would defintely stay again if I visited again.

A great hotel and a great location

The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of the playa mansa and the playa brava. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We only had a day in Punta del Este but were able to make the most of it because when we checked in, Valeria told us that there was a city tour leaving in an hour and a half that we could take. She made a reservation for us to be picked up at the hotel and then recommended a place where we could get a quick meal before the tour. The whole staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast offered a wide selection.
