Loved loved loved it!
When I arrived at this place I was in shock. This was the place I dreamed about so many times and there it was! Peter Pan meets beach paradise. I was so ecstatically happy I ran around making photos, touching everything, climbing in things, throwing sand in the air. All recycled materials, barefoot, guitars, marihuana, solar energy, fishing nets, dogs, hammocks, happiness, to scream a few things.
My 63-yo mother was also in shock, as she's not used to something so rustic. She ended up liking it, but it took a while to get used to. She had troubles climbing up the stairs to the room, but there you simply had the best view AND a private terrace.
Only things to improve: some more electricity plugs & a fridge. That's all. Kitchen works perfect, great warm shower, nice terrace. Maybe some more hammocks?
100% recommended. Can't find anything better than this in valizas.

We were there in January. The location is very good. Very close to the beach, about 40 m. However, the facilities are quite austere, small and lacking in hygiene. Although the shower is quite good, there are no clothes hangers, the bedding and pillows were almost unusable, quite worn out. I had brought luckily.
To be close to the beach the place is ideal, but not at all comfortable. In any case, I highlight the kindness and friendliness of the owner of the place, Mauricio, his attention is good.

Gracias por tomarse el tiempo para dejar su comentario y por destacar nuestra ubicación y atención. Lamentamos que su experiencia no haya sido completamente satisfactoria en cuanto al confort. Desde su visita hemos realizado varias mejoras: renovamos la ropa de cama, incorporamos percheros y reforzamos los protocolos de limpieza y mantenimiento.
Nos alegra saber que disfrutó la cercanía al mar y la atención recibida. Esperamos tener la oportunidad de recibirlos nuevamente para que puedan conocer las nuevas instalaciones.

Dirty and disrespectful service
My girlfriend and I reserve the place for 3 nights. We arrived at a relatively late hour. The sheets were dirty, used and full of hair, and there was a smell of sweat, the toilet had cockroaches and when my girlfriend complained we got a scornful reaction and even claimed that the bedding was new

No recomendable
No lo recomiendo. Informales e irrespetuosos con el turista pues diversas veces llamando por información de disponibilidad y ese Sr Mauricio miente al decir que te pasará fotos por WhatsApp de la única habitación disponible y no lo hace. Una y otra vez hace lo mismo y cuando le dije que a la información la quería en el momento, asume que no hay alojamiento disponible. Una maldad y desrespeito com quien viaja

Perto do mar
O Hostel Solar fica bem perto da praia o que proporciona uma linda vista do nascer do sol e da lua. Simplesmente uma vista linda. O atendimento do hostel fica por conta da Andrea super atenciosa, exigente, e com razão, com os cuidados que devemos ter no hostel. Ela prepara um café da manha muito bom, com frutas cortadas na hora, suco de laranja natural também feito na hora, pães, geléias, doce de leite e manteiga. Cama (colchão colocado no piso) bom, banho idem. Dispões de carregadores para celulares, já que o hostel não tem energia elétrica. Se ficar no quarto superior e de frente pro mar ainda tem-se a disposição um pequeno deck para curtir a paisagem. Recomendo.
