Critique Harrison Inn Duchesne Utah

We stayed at this motel on a recent road trip in May 2025 . This room had a coded entry. We called the number on the sign and the owner took our credit card info and gave us the room coded entry to the door. The room was small but very clean. It had a very nice bathroom with a great shower. We had in room coffee with a refrigerator. The owner did charge us 20 bucks for our little service dog. The bed was great . The outside area was very well kept. Overall a very great place to stay. Highly recommended !

Nice staying

Clean room with large bathroom with shower. Parking place next to the room. Fast Wi-Fi, TV, fridge and coffee machine. The owner is not on site, so you must call him to get the door code to entry the room.

Great Value & Comfort

Recently spent four days at the Harrison Inn in Duchesne. Was in for a short vacation and the hospitality, cleanliness, cost, ease of access and friendly service all contributed to making our trip so nice. I will certainly stay here again!

Very Comfy

Room was super cute, building is an old house or building of some sort that was converted I think. It looks a little iffy on the outside but it far exceeded expectations when I walked in. Very clean, welcoming, fridge and microwave, the TV didn’t have free cable (you should change that) but otherwise I was very happy with my choice. Would absolutely stay again.

Was very disappointed!

I guess the housekeeper didn't want to do a complete job. Got to the room and found a Q-tip lying right smack in the middle of the cover of the made-up bed (Okay, weird and gross! I hope it hadn't been used, but I wasn't going to do a thorough inspection of it to see. Nothing like having a little bit of possibly disgusting garbage left lying around (and on the bed, no less) for the customer to have to get rid of. Was awakened after midnight by the guests arriving in the room next to mine. Kept up by continual noise until about 1:30-ish in the morning. Then there was another barrage of continual noise from 3 to 4 a.m. It was a nightmare trying to get some sleep. Was very disappointed in how easily you could hear noise from the adjoining room. The problem was largely rude people staying in the room next door, but it had to have also been just poor construction in the building. I could hear everything they did: coughing, sitting down on the mattress, what I think may have been snoring, and I could easily hear talking. I reserved the room for two nights, but it was so impossible to sleep because of noise on the first night that I refused to stay there for the second night. I don't remember ever staying in a place where I could hear so much noise and so clearly from an adjoining room. On the upside, the owner is very nice, the rooms are cute and cozy, and the price is awesome! If you're lucky enough to stay there on a night with neighbors who have a clue that they are sharing the building with other people, then this would be a great place to stay!
