Elevator is not available, if you have heavy luggage, just nicely carry up the stairs.
The carpet in the hallway and stairs have stains and pieces missing.
There is no ventilation in the rooms. The hotel also does not think about it, but leaves the rooms with completely undisguised windows, closed windows and the "fan" apparently to be thankful for is not turned on. This makes the rooms as warm as a sauna. It's totally excruciating. When I asked the staff, who obviously thought I should go to my sauna and be quiet, they just told me to turn on the fan. Then they told us to sleep with the windows open. Considering the possibility of climbing through the windows, we didn't want that. That they had been able to help their guests by closing the curtains, opening the windows and turning on the fan when the rooms were being prepared - no, it was far, far too much to ask.
The beds are so soft / calm that it's like trying to sleep in a pit.
It's dirty.
The window restraint thing was broken and couldn't hold the window in a position.
The wallpaper in the bathroom has begun to release from the moisture.
The sink was missing the "plup".
There was no wardrobe in the room without any hooks on the wall with hangers.
There are few outlets, which the hotel solved by hanging a multi outlet box on the radiator.
The breakfast had dry bread, croissants that had been out for a while and the total selection was like "ok" but probably you get more value for money to buy breakfast elsewhere.
For gluten- and lactose-intolerant, we offer slightly different lactose-free options plus a dull gluten-free muesli in a jar.
The decor probably tries to be a bit daring or something but there are bright colors and big patterns mixed together in a blissful compote that actually just gets ugly.
This is probably the dirtiest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. It was disgusting.

A cozy place with nice staff, good food and drinks. Breakfast has everything you could ask for and then some. (Hotels that do not offer breakfast in the room rate will miss customers. ), nice service, good room, comfortable bed. if you can find something negative, like that the shower should have some kind of barrier so not the whole toilet floor gets wet, but a shitty thing in context

Lovely old fashioned hotel. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good
There was no lift but the staff did carry the bags up stairs. Only small negative was there were too many dos and don’ts notices in the room.

Superb stay in beautiful Gränna
Great experience in connection with management team! Nice staff and great food! Cozy hotel and just one of those things like getting music tips from the receptionist ( Kip Moore) gives a 5 rating Recommend this place to 100% and will gladly return
