Kronocampingen Lidköping

One of the best campsites I've been to. Good location by Lake Vänern, walking distance to Lidköping. Great reception/shop, fantastic restaurant at the campsite, lots of activities for the children, great service house, can warmly recommend this campsite.

Perfect for rich family Svensson

We rented Djuröstugan for 3 nights, me and my daughter. The area is very nice and the service buildings and toilets kept consistently a good level.
Great with free admission to Framnäs outdoor pool!
The cottage itself was no big deal, not as tidy when we got there as one could wish and absolute minimum to "get by" regarding "interior" and kitchen utensils.
- The staff was not very service minded, it probably hurt to attempt a smile...
“Living in a cheaper alternative gave the feeling of getting about as good service as living on the D-deck of the Titanic.
- We received an information magazine on arrival but were still disappointed that some activities were not advertised anywhere (for example some kind of sight seeing train that we suddenly discovered?)
The go-karts were another disappointment. According to the website and the information there would be different sizes, which turned out to be only two different. One was for one person and there it was recommended that the driver was at least 8 years old to be able to pedal (my daughter is 6 years old).
The other a family car, normally for four people.
Because all families look like that, of course? Maybe arrange for there to be a type tandem variant for single people? Not okay, I think...

Not worse money

We had a caravan. Seems the place was ok, and we had a nice location. But not worth the price. Service was poor, they take care of getting paid.
We were also at Johannesvik and Daftø for half the price, and at least equally good space.

Much night noise - not recommended for families with children

A totally ok campsite, with a nice location. But for a family on the go, the noise level in the evening and nighttime was a challenge and there was little and poor sleep on the whole gang. We lay in the area that was closest to the road and were prepared for car noise, but experienced it as unproblematic. But in general noise from dishwashing, loud talking, singing, driving, kicking bikes and singing at night (00 -06) was perceived as negative.
It also has potential for improvement in cleaning service buildings and garbage disposal. Experienced several times a day that it was empty for soap and paper as well as full garbage containers.
The pool area was super and morning trip along the lake was magical ❤️

Vänerstuga

Nice little cottage with everything needed. Clean and comfortable. BUT such bad beds so sunken so you lay so bad even such narrow beds. Beds get bottom marks.
The campsite was incredibly nice a lot for everyone. Clean and tidy everywhere.
Outside the cottage to get up on the patio and the door in so it was far too high "steps".
