Youth hostel that feels like a home

A lovely youth hostel. Mood back in the seventies. Nice rooms for two people, but also larger rooms. Kitchen very well equipped. A dining room that looks cozy and a slightly smaller dining room for six people. An ideal starting point for hiking tours of this beautiful island. And a “country store” where everything is for sale. From milk to hats, from whipped cream to shawls and from bread to bathing suits.

A wonderful stay on the isle of Hasselö

We stayed three nights at the very comfortable, clean and cosy youth hostel together with our dog. We travelled by postbåten which we booked beforehand. We bought our ready-made meals at the handelsboa. The meals were prepared by restaurant Sjökanten so it was also a culinary delight.
The island is perfect for walking, enjoying the peace and quiet and the beautiful starry nights.

Best archipelago view!

Stayed at Strandbo, a cottage with the most beautiful archipelago view on the island . See the outer archipelago and the horizon from the window, garden and not least from the cozy jetty that offers swimming and nice moments! Highly recommended!

Fantastic archipelago environment.

The fourth year at Hasselö and everything is fantastic. Accommodation, restaurant, environment. Very friendly and helpful staff.
