Just wonderful!

What charming well presented little guest house!
We had the two rooms with Ensuite (Canada and Radford). Both were comfortable and beautifully presented to a high standard. We met the owner, a lovely lady who chatted with us about our adventures.
This was a 2 night stay for us, and part of a 3 week road trip. We left it too late to book somewhere nice in or around Tobermory, and then discovered this little gem! It was about 90 mins to get to Tobermory, so not too far with lots of things to see on the way. Markdale itself is a great little town, and not far from some great hiking trails and waterfalls.

Peace and Quiet in the Grey Highlands

We stayed at Danby House on Sat. July 11 with our friends to celebrate a milestone birthday together. We had a fantastic time! Our room was clean and just the right size with a lovely ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfy and the breakfast was excellent! Julia went above and beyond as a host, even bringing out bug spray when we had evening drinks in their spacious yard. If you want a nice quiet stay with that small town feel I would highly recommend Danby House!

Victorian Comfort!

We stayed at the Danby House twice this fall, as we were hiking in the area and needed a place to sleep. We returned because both the host and the home are top notch. It's a gorgeous Victorian home and the rooms were comfortable and private. We had lovely breakfasts each morning. It was the perfect spot to stay overnight, and it's highly recommended if you are passing by, or staying in the area.

Very beautiful B&B in a charming house. The room was beautiful and the bathroom very spacious.
