Simple, friendly, with great views.
This was my second visit to the Axiothea. It’s a delightful family hotel, and the welcome is wonderful. It’s very simple but spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great and the view over Paphos to the UNESCO archaeological sites and the sea is spectacular. Close to Paphos old town with its pedestrianised streets with cafes and shops. Next door to Paphos’s beautiful cathedral and to Muse, a great restaurant.

Highly recommended
Location, view, service, atmosphere, beautiful design, homely feeling, good food, everything is perfect. And the old city (with the market and alleys) is within walking distance. Wonderful hotel

This is a lovely little hotel. It's not grand in any way - in fact, it is very simple, but it is friendly, spotlessly clean, and in a marvellous location. Breakfast is good (the cakes and the homemade preserves particularly) and to enjoy breakfast looking out over the whole of Paphos is fabulous. If you want five star luxury, then it isn't for you but, if you want a welcoming place with people who care, you will be in the right place.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the charming pathos old town with it's upmarket restaurants, souvenir and coffee shops.
My room was 212 on the second floor served by a lift or stairs. The room overlooked the harbour, was well fitted with a comfortable double bed, en suite bathroom, aircon, plenty of storage, kettle and iron.
Towels were changed daily.
The room was spotless as was the whole hotel. The breakfast was wonderful with so much choice but the highlight for me was the attitude of the staff, polite, helpful and just couldn't do enough for me.
I stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment.
