Absolutely relaxing and cordial – our new favourite residence on Lake Chiemsee!

We spent 5 days at Haus Waldesruh and were completely enthusiastic. The house is really right on the edge of the forest with a beautiful view of the Chiemgau mountains – in the morning at breakfast a dream!
Rooms:
Very clean, well maintained and cozy furnishings. The beds are comfortable, everything is bright and friendly. We had a room with balcony – just perfect for relaxing with a view of the countryside.
Breakfast:
One of the best pension breakfasts we have ever had! Very rich, everything fresh, honey from the region is at the table, good coffee and the hostess is just cordial. You can see that we work with commitment here.
Location:
Quiet yet central. By car in a few minutes at the Chiemsee-Strandbad Übersee, ideal for bike tours, hikes or trips to Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee. Perfect as a starting point for the whole region.
Service & hospitality:
The owner and the team are just great – always friendly, helpful and happy to give good tips for the area. You really feel like you're staying with good friends.
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a quiet, clean and warmly run guesthouse, this is the place for you. Haus Waldesruh is not an anonymous hotel, but a real little gem. We will definitely come back!
Thank you for the wonderful time!
