A pleasant stay in the Vosges
This is an old hotel that was rebuilt four years ago after a fire. It has free outdoor parking and underground parking for a fee.
We were accommodated in the 55 square meters apartment on the first floor. This apartment includes:
-A very large entrance with a lot of wasted area with above the front door a large fluorescent panel in neon green color with an arrow signaling the exit in case of fire. This type of panel is very convenient for underground parking, an interior corridor or a nightlife venue, but is not at all suitable for a deep sleep in the sofa bed in the living area! This security sign has such a brightness that it illuminates the living room in the middle of the night despite the thick curtain of the windows.
-A main dining table with chairs and a kitchen area whose very sharp angles located at 1.90 meters from the ground (probably evacuation ducts) can seriously injure the head, tall people (see photo attached). Next to the kitchen area is a VMC duct that blows fresh air. During our stay in mid-June, we were cold at night. The reception explained that the heating was off! Summer nights are cool in the Vosges! The apartment also has 3 separate rooms: The first is a bedroom with a double bed overlooking the rear parking lot. The bedding is comfortable but its plastic pantry makes you sweat. The second room is the separate toilet and the 3rd, the very bright hand room with opening onto a side part of the hotel. The main drawback of the bathroom with shower is the installation of a very very short timer , barely 10 seconds on the faucet of the sink. It is very awkward to keep pressing the push button on the water tap. The apartment is bright as it has several windows including a French door giving access to a very large terrace with a view of the outdoor parking at the back of the hotel. However, this terrace is not private because it is also accessible to your room neighbours, who through their patio doors can also see the interior of your living room, unless you have drawn your curtains. Despite these imperfections, this apartment remains very comfortable and offers a very good quality ratio for a family of 3 people, wishing to visit the area.

Good value for money
Well located close by car to the center Epinal (5min max) in an area of quiet activity. Room 2 to 3 people, clean and well arranged. Bed chest for the 3rd person a little cramped to pass when deployed. But welcomed with a smile, very kind and helpful at the reception (evening) and breakfast with panoramic views. Always a person at the reception which is very appreciated. Parking outside (and inside possible). Good value for money.

I booked this hotel for one night so we could stop over during our trip back home. When i noticed a mistake in my booking ( date ) i immediately contacted the hotel to change the date since we where already on our way to the hotel. Unfortunattely they where not able to help us and the only option they offered me was to do a completely new booking. Due to the lack of support we had to drive trough the night together with our 2 children. I understand it's a budget hotel but you would still expect some level of humanity and customer support.
