A good weekend in Brest

Conveniently located near restaurants, friendly bar 's and on the main shopping avenue of Brest.
20 m from Brest Castle and 200 m from the port where there are also plenty of restaurants.
Very kind welcome.
Very comfortable bed, room with recent furniture and modern shower room.

Well located and welcoming

Hotel very well located to visit the city center of Brest (siam street, castle, Capuchins, ...).
Warm Welcoming, functional set and very clean. The decor is nice. The standard room is small but well appointed.
Breakfast is very good with a variety of products, including pressed orange juice on demand and a very good brioche.

The IBIS is literally located in the middle of a large pedestrian area with numerous bars, restaurants and shops and a tram stop. Superior location! Minutes from great parks and the Military Chateau. The port is about 10 minutes walk too. Staff at the Ibis was superior as well. From Jordan, Bad (nickname) and Peggy at the front desk. Peggy helped us immensely with securing a vet appointment on a French holiday which is next to impossible. Breakfast was always booked and looked delicious, however we did not eat so I cannot review. Free coffee in breakfast area was very good. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful too. The rooms are a bit on the small side. Well appointed but smaller. Travelled with my GF and service dog. Would recommend!

Never again

Never again ibis no comfort in the rooms and the housekeepers who come out of reflections "they are ch*** to stay there! We can’t do our job » ever again

what I expected

It was what I expected, knowing the hotel chain. Good location, both for visiting that part of Brittany, both for the proximity to several restaurants, and for the presence of a large paid parking very close (but from 19:00 to 9:00) is free. Buffet breakfast varies in savory and sweet. Nice common spaces. Dear receptionist who welcomed us speaking in Italian.
The room I knew was small but this time the passage between the bed and the bathroom (but it was windowed!) was just minimal and there was not much space to place the suitcases (which in the case of long tours can be a little more cumbersome): in short, you had to have a spirit of adaptation, considering that the stay was two nights.
