One of our favourite accomodations ever

We loved Casa Guelfucci. We were booking accommodation as we travelled on a road trip around Corsica and were very lucky to be able to get a room at less than a day's notice. Our room, Pascal Paoli, on the second floor was quite magnificent. It was very spacious with a bedroom area and large comfortable bed and also a large lounge area. Also a bathroom complete with bath tub and the best view ever from a bath - of the citadel on top of the hill in Corte.
The rooms were very light and airy with lots of windows with spectacular views of Corte and the surrounding mountains. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We walked into Corte in the evening and had a great meal in the old part. It was a lovely 10-15 minute walk.
Breakfast was delicious and we ate it on the terrace overlooking the view of Corte and the vineyard. There were many home baked delicacies, both savoury and sweet - all were delicious. Also very nice cheese, meats, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. It was all Corsican fare. We met other guests who told us we were in the best possible room and that they usually had it!
There was a shared fridge on the ground floor which we were able to use which was a bonus as we were travelling a lot so keeping things cold was a challenge.

Magical night in Corte

Un endroit privilégié à Corti

Endroit Chaleureux, maison de caractère et cuisine de qualité. Que des produits naturels au petit-déjeuner, souvent maison.
Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et accueillants.
En partant, nous avons eu l'impression de quitter un ami. Cet endroit a éclairé notre séjour.

Génial

Très belle demeure familial . L'accueil est chaleureux par le propriétaire Antoine. La chambre PMR est grande ,fonctionnel est très propre. Les personnes qui sont réellement en fauteuil ne seront pas ravis car même si la chambre et bien adapté le reste de l'établissent n'est pas vraiment adapté (petite marche, Parking en gravillon) . Le petit déjeuner et copieux et varié le tout pris sur une terrasse avec piscine
