A unique stay at the end of our road trip

We knew we were going to have a unique experience and the boat did not dissappoint. The room was fine but we were a little unlucky that the weather was so hot, making the metal boat difficult to cool down!! However, the owner and staff were charming and the breakfast was excellent.

Lovely experience on a boat

We stayed here one night on the way from Germany to Paris. What a lovely boat. Room was clean and cozy. The owner was very kind and helpful. As already others say, breakfast was great. Price is reasonable compare to what you get. We would love to come back here again.
ドイツからパリへの道中で一泊しました。川に停泊している小さな船がホテルです。内装がとてもかわいく、お部屋は清潔で静かでした。朝食がすばらしかったです。オーナーさんがとても親切でよく気を配って下さる方でした。ぜひまた泊まりたいホテル。

Fab fab fab

Great little spot - so much fun to stay on a barge. I was surprised the room was so roomy. The breakfast is huge but we did eat it all - apart from some bread we saved to feed the ducks right outside our window. Recommend to anyone staying in Metz

Different experience

We stayed at Peniche Alclair for two nights. and thoroughly enjoyed it. As other reviewers stated it would not show on our GPS. We kept towards the water and eventually a gentleman out for a walk directed us. It is in a beautiful location and a lovely short walk to city centre. The room was reasonable size and the host very welcoming . Plenty of tea ,coffee and a kettle available. We were offered drinks on arrival but declined but were offered again on our second day which we took. Breakfast is brought to a small galley area . Good fresh baguette , croissants and jam. Metz is a lovely city and I would highly recommend Peniche Alclair for a different experience

Nice experience on a boat

Our trip was full of "first times". This was our fist time resting on a boat, it was a really good experience. The owner was really kind and the breakfast was tasty. We really enjoyed our stay there. Metz was so green!!
