Beautiful hotel with character and charm

Perfect stay from start to finish in this beautiful hotel with character and charm. Impeccable room with refined decor. High-quality bedding, but what really won us over was the large, beautiful bathroom... shower, bathtub, double vanity, true relaxation. You feel right at home there instantly. An address to recommend without hesitation.

3 night stay

We stayed in the Jeanne room on the ground Floor. This room has a nice patio at the back of the room. The bed was good and the airconditioning worked fine. The lay-out of the room we did not like so much. The bathroom is enormous and the sleeping area is small. We had to put our suitcases in the bathroom because there was no space in the sleeping area.
The bathroom is open to the sleeping area but has curtains for privacy. The toilet is separate and has a door.
There is cupboard with a coffee machine but it is difficult to make coffee because of the cupboard door. It would be better to remove this door.
Next door is a breakfast brunch restaurant that shares the halway where unfortunately they were doing building work. Everyday when the restaurant closed around 3 in the afternoon the builder would come and make a lot of noise.

Loved the little cafe next door (but with an entrance inside the hotel for guests). The optional breakfast that could be included with the room was plentiful and delicious. The people were friendly and tolerated my French. They also had gluten free options for me. Cute outside seating area.
My friend suggested Maison Soleil because it was close to both the train station and her home. I would definitely stay there again.

The room agate was so small, but it had a nice terrace. No staff when you arrive, which is the concept of this hotel, however the cafe Madeleine was great. The breakfast was very good and the cafe’s staff friendly.
