A unique and authentic stay

Ia Orana,
When the authenticity and passion of Polynesia combine, we let ourselves be lulled by the murmur of the waves and the beauty of the waters.
We open our daily break with a local breakfast and close it with a dinner, rich and varied, prepared with care.
Throughout the stay, we fish, we swim and we let ourselves be transported by this energy of yesteryear. We sail and discover this cocoon of nature which shapes the island of Tahaa.
Thanks to Tarome, Théodore, their children for this unique experience where the birthday and the Valentine's Day celebration intersected.

This could be paradise, but it turns into a nightmare.

Beautiful setting, but the lodging is left to neglect. We had three days without electricity starting at 8 PM because the batteries do not hold. Five days without water in the bathroom and the toilets. Shower and toilet with a pot of rainwater. Dave, the cook, is wonderful and works miracles to fill in the gaps left by the owner. We shortened our stay because we did not have a drop of water in the tanks, and the family did not replenish the island.
To be avoided until restoration work is done and the owner's family invests more in welcoming guests.

A mixed experience on a paradise motu

We stayed two nights at the pension Atger on the motu. The setting is magical and we were lucky enough to be the only ones staying during our stay. Unfortunately, the pension seems simply abandoned: no water (obliged to ask the employee who manages the pension) or hot water, the toilet bowl completely broken... we had to change bungalows ourselves and move all our belongings without any help.
Not to mention the dilapidated state of the bungalows.
It’s a shame, because the setting is sumptuous and Pascal, our guide to the stay, was very welcoming and friendly. Thanks to him.
We leave with a very good memory of the motu, much less the pension.

Keep off!

Unreasonable, overrated by owner. Rip off! Not even worth 50€ to stay per day!
Transportation offered unteasonable and overrated. Taxi ordered and paid for never showed up.
Food poor. Windows and entrance door broken, not lockable.

2 days in adventure mode (accommodation and meals)

Average reception, the room very basic with very deteriorated equipment in the bathroom. For the shower, having lukewarm water remains an adventure… for the electrical outlets only 1 works. The bed is not very comfortable, no cupboard, chest of drawers for storing clothes. The food is good and the chef goes out of his way to try to be at a decent standard. The walks are very beautiful (for the schedules don't expect punctuality) but the stay was nice but it's a shame that everything was left abandoned because there is great potential!
