Wonderful short vacation in Celle

Our stay, for a few days, in July 2026 at the Hotel Caroline - Mathilde was very pleasant and relaxing. The hotel is located near the old town and is very well managed. The entire staff, from the reception to the cleaning crew, was very attentive and helpful. Also the restaurant manager Simone from the restaurant
"Kanape" was very competent and friendly to all guests. We would love to come back and will recommend it to others.

A lovely and quaint hotel within walking distance to the historic old city. My room was very clean and comfortable, and on an unusually hot day, it was a pleasant surprise to find air conditioning in every room. This hotel is a great value. There are rooms located in two buildings, they are virtually next to each other and even though my friend and I were in separate buildings, it was no problem at all. Breakfast was included in my room rate and if you’re usually hungry in the morning, you’re sure to find a variety of delicious options, including gluten free bread if you ask for it. The staff was absolutely delightful, helpful, and kind. I would definitely return, should I find myself visiting Celle again.
