My friend and I have just returned from our stay in Malta and I have to say the hotel was excellent. All the staff we came into contact with were exceptional, always smiling, helpful, chatty…….nothing was too much trouble. Our room (superior twin) was large with air con, large tv, plenty of hanging space, safe, drawers, fridge and radio. The bathroom had a large walk in shower with rain shower and handheld shower heads with good water pressure. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice and also daily local delicacies. There was a coffee machine which you could use throughout the day also. The hotel put out cake in the afternoon and early evening local wines and snack for tasting at no extra charge. The hotel had a roof terrace with comfy chairs which provided excellent views of the harbour. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel, it really made our holiday. Thank you 19 Rooms.

Not entirely satisfactory.

Overall, our stay at 19Rooms was not bad. The central location, the very kind staff, and the spacious, well-air-conditioned rooms were greatly appreciated. However, the absence of windows facing the outside in the rooms, and not towards the internal courtyard, and in some cases the inaccessibility to them due to inhuman heights, the services and amenities in the room being almost nonexistent, as well as many other small shortcomings, did not make the stay entirely satisfactory.

Lovely hotel, great stay, beautiful country!

We stayed in 19 Rooms Valletta for three nights and it was great! When we got there we were informed we had a free upgrade to our room, which was lovely. The room was huge, with a massive bathroom and walk in shower. In the room, we had plenty of hanging space, along with everything else you’d want. We had a great balcony which you could see the street and sea from, along with another enclosed balcony, which was brilliant, especially as we weren’t blessed with the greatest weather in March! This meant we could still enjoy the scenery but not get wet and it felt like we were sat on a balcony still! Breakfast was fine, everything you’d expect from a continental and meant you could fill up for the day. There was also free wine and cake in the afternoon, a nice touch. Hotel staff were very helpful and gave lots of advice on trips and how to get to Gozo etc. Hotel was perfectly located, about 15 minutes to get to the city centre and close to everything you’d want. All in all, a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend if you were visiting!

Looks to me like a project that lost momentum. Rooms were big but very little finese added. Compared to other Valletta properties there are lots missing - tea/coffee making, room information, phone information, snacks in room etc etc. For the price it seems unfinished and lacking finese. That said, the breakfast was good though with a single coffee machine it was far from trouble-free.

Lovely people and super quiet room. Fantastic roof deck and the breakfast was delicious. We had overslept and they kept breakfast open late for us!
