Riad Verus - Hostel - Adults Only is in de historische wijk in Fes te vinden. Kassr Annoujoum Ducci Stichting en Fondouk Tsetouanien zijn lokale bezienswaardigheden en wie zin heeft om te winkelen, kan bij Place R'cif en Sidi Moussa Leerlooierij terecht. Fes Country Club en Aux Merveilles du Tapis zijn ook zeker het bezoeken waard. Dit hostel heeft niet alleen een restaurant, maar ook een bar/lounge en een snackbar/deli. Je vindt er ook gratis continentaal ontbijt, gratis wifi in gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en een gratis receptie. Je vindt er ook een conciërgeservice, een stomerij/wasserijservice en een wasserij. De huishoudservice is op verzoek beschikbaar. Riad Verus - Hostel - Adults Only heeft 10 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van verduisterende gordijnen. Elke kamer is in eigen stijl ingericht en gemeubileerd. In dit hostel in Fes is wifi gratis. Elke badkamer heeft een douche met een regendouche. One of My Favorite Stays in Morocco
From the moment I walked into Riad Verus, I knew I had found something special. The riad is absolutely beautiful, and that first impression alone was enough to make me fall in love with the place. Check-in was quick, seamless, and welcoming, making me feel at home immediately.
One of the things I appreciated most was the location. It’s inside the Medina, so you get the authentic experience of staying in the heart of Fes, but it’s conveniently located right by one of the gates. If you’re arriving with luggage, you won’t have to drag your bags through endless winding streets. It’s also within easy walking distance of many great restaurants and cafés.
The central courtyard is simply stunning. It’s the kind of place where you naturally want to sit for hours. I spent time working there, and it was incredibly comfortable, peaceful, and inspiring. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable enough for video meetings and remote work, which was a huge plus. There’s also a lovely rooftop terrace where you can relax and take in the atmosphere.
Breakfast every morning was a highlight. It was generous, fresh, and full of variety: fresh orange juice, fruit, cereal, pastries, and an amazing egg sandwich that I genuinely looked forward to. Everything was delicious, and the overall vibe each morning was warm and relaxed.
I stayed in a private room, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the intricate tiles and beautiful carpets to the colorful lanterns and charming windows overlooking the interior of the riad. The décor strikes the perfect balance between authentic Moroccan character and refined, high-end design. It never felt staged or artificial, it felt like the real deal. The pictures really dont do it justice.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep after exploring the Medina. The bathroom was excellent as well, with a huge shower and everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever needed, while also giving guests plenty of space to enjoy the riad at their own pace. The atmosphere felt relaxed and easygoing, which made it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.
What makes Riad Verus stand out is that it offers much more than just a place to sleep. It has soul, character, and authenticity, while still providing all the comfort and convenience you could want. Whether you’re visiting Fes to explore, relax, or even get some work done, this place delivers on every level.
I would happily stay here again and recommend it without hesitation. One of those rare places that exceeds expectations and leaves you wishing you had booked a few more nights.

Nice social hostel!
Loved my stay at Riad Verus! The riad is beautiful, the location is great, and the rooftop is an amazing and spacious place to hang with others. The atmosphere is super social, making it easy to meet other travellers. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, they even gave me some recommendations on where to eat. The included breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again!

5/5 Solo Experience
I had an excellent time at Riad Verus. I have been solo traveling Morocco, and this has been my favorite Hostel so far. I stayed in the 10 person hostel suite on the third floor. Nassim was great, very hospitable and helpful in with his recommendations for Fes. We also spoke about how we both like Harvey Specter in Suits.
The facilities were clean and it was very social, with people watching the Norway-England game upstairs in the lounge area. There were plenty of other people when I came this summer. It is located in a very convenient spot near the center of the Medina.
The breakfast came with the accommodation and was plentiful. For dinner, we went out a little bit farther past the hotel for some local street food that charged non-tourist prices.
I would totally come back in 2030 for the next World Cup.

Strategic location, panoramic, friendly staff
I stayed at the Riad Verus in the Fez medina at the end of June this year, with a friend of mine. Fantastic rooms and common areas, furnished in the Moroccan style, the property has intimate but shareable spaces among guests that are truly unique. Among these is a veranda on the top floor that is truly unique in style and panoramic view, where you can admire the medina from above and from where I was able to admire some unique sunrises. Good and abundant breakfast. Strategic Riad location. The staff is welcoming and affable, in particular the two staff members Zach and Nassim, very professional but at the same time so friendly that it really moved me to have to say goodbye to them upon departure. I hope to be able to return as soon as possible, to introduce the place to my husband and friends. Highly recommended!!!!

It has been a more than rewarding stay!
We came spontaneously and found the best treatment from both the staff and the owner of the Riad. The staff is very polite and helpful. The room was in very good condition. And the crown jewel, of course, is the Riad's lounge. A typical, traditional, historic, and impressive Moroccan lounge. Honestly, the stay is highly recommended and safe.

With a mix of traditional Moroccan arquitecture, design and modern technology our stunning Riad Hostel is situated in the exciting Medina of Fes with easy access for taxis and car parking in a safe neighbourhood, close to Batha Fountain. The views from the roof terraces are simply mind blowing and you can see all the way to the Merenid Tombs. All rooms have reversible AC/ Heating and the wifi is fibre optic and very fast. The Riad is social and busy and predominantly caters for under 40s - the vibe is fun, upbeat and we regularly hold events and activities. Noise carries in the Riad old building so we are not suitable if you are looking for a silent retreat or are a mature family with children. Our aim is affordable budget tourism and we serve the best brunch on the terrace in Morocco included in the price from 09:30 Riad Verus also regularly serves a family dinner for all the guests to come together on the roof top terrace with views of the Medina and in Winter in the traditional arabesque courtyard. In the evenings the guests enjoy playing cards or board games or smoking a sheisha in the terrace lounge areas. The multilingual team at Riad Verus can help organise activities such as camel trekking in the Sahara desert, day trips to Chefchaoen, Meknes, Middle Atlas, Airport transfers and Medina walking tours with great guides. We have 8 bedrooms in total and 3 of them are dorms. The fine print details tourism restrictions for unmarried couples (where one or both is muslim) and dorms are exclusively for international tourists in order to comply with the law. If you are muslim you will need to present your marriage certificate; If you are both not muslim this rule does not apply to you. All guests must provide their working whatsapp number and correct postal code and nationality of the passport entering Morocco and all reservations will be authorised before arrival, if you fail the check the reservation will be cancelled. The hostel also regularly serves a family dinner for all the guests to come together on the roof top terrace with views of the Medina and in Winter in the traditional arabesque courtyard. In the evenings the guests enjoy playing cards or board games or smoking a sheisha in the terrace lounge areas and music is played, so light sleepers do bring earplugs to Morocco.
