Excellent trip

The Riad is excellent as are the staff. They were so helpful when we needed to ask any questions. Our stay was a fabulous and memorable experience. We would high recommend this accommodation. It is quiet and close to the Fna.

Booked but CLOSED!!

I booked through booking.com and the host took a €10 deposit and ailed me several times about booking a, ‘welcome dinner.’ When I arrived the property was closed and by all accounts the manager was not even in the country. He maintained that it was the fault of booking.con which I find hard to believe due to the funds taken. This is still unresolved and I’m not clear if this is a scam or not.

Superb!

Had a brilliant 4 night stay, first time in Marrakesh. Arrived using the airport transfer that Zack (manager) kindly arranged for us. I would recommend this offered transfer as the Riad would be hard to find by taxi. My husband and I were met by Zack at the Riad, he knew we had an early flight so kindly asked his colleague to make us breakfast. Zack gave us some great information and a map regarding Marrakesh. The Riad itself is situated within a 10 minute walk of the main square which we found to be an ideal location. The Riad has 4 guest rooms. We initially stayed in the voyage double room which was brilliant and served it’s purpose. After our first night we were moved into the terrace suite as we were told a group was coming, which was a kind gesture. The terrace suite was lovely, however there was a smell of sewage at times which was covered by the fragrance of the oil burners. Toulia and Hind (staff) were brilliant and always asked what time we wanted breakfast. Overall brilliant stay, brilliant staff. Thank you so much!

A friendly, cosy home near the medina

We were 7 friends traveling together and we managed to book all the rooms in this riad. Our manager Zack picked us up from the airport. He took us out on the first evening to show us the neighborhood, the way to the souks and made sure that we knew our way back to the riad. The two women on the staff, Touria and Hind, provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning and cups of tea and coffee when we wanted them. We asked whether we could to leave some luggage behind in the riad after we checked out. We were flying to Fez and after 4 days flying back to Marrakesh, and flying out to London the same evening. To save us trying to get back to the riad to pick up our luggage, Zack had promised he'd bring it to to the airport and true to his word he was there when our flight from Fez landed. This was so kind and he did it obligingly. The general charm of the staff and the cosy comfort of the riad made us feel very much at home and we were sorry when our stay of 4 nights there was over. I would very heartily recommend this place with its clean quiet rooms, lovely terrace and obliging staff.

Superb place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad dar Thania. The place is great and so are the hosts: beautiful house - nicely restored, nice roof terrace, yummy breakfast, good location in the Medina. Reccommended!
