Aplace filled with history

Beautiful Riad with a lot of history that we loved learning about from the owners.
Pictures hang on the walls show what it was like before the renovation which has been done amazingly, keeping original tiles where possible and rebuilding roofs where they were collapsed.
The "Maison del la Poesie" was its original name given to it by the last owner of the house, who was a poet himself and who hosted several artists and poets to create beauty together.
We were given a room that for some reason had a foul smell from the bathroom and next day we were immediately moved to another one so it could be fixed.
We loved our stay and loved learning about the history of this Riad.

Best Riad in Rabat

Riad and city where it is pleasant to stay. The Riad is magnificent, and I was particularly touched by the welcome: hosts of great humanity, filled with kindness, humor, and generosity.
Everything was perfect, from the quality of the rooms to the breakfast. A big thank you also to the dedicated staff who did everything to make this stay magical, not to mention the valuable advice on visits and restaurants.
You can feel the passion and love with which the owners restored this place, while respecting the authenticity of the country and the sense of hospitality.

Stunning riad in the middle of the lovely Medina.

Beautiful riad which has been
meticulously refurbished using
traditional methods.
It is an historical building with stunning mosaic tiles and stained glass windows which overlook the inner courtyards.
The staff is kind and courteous. The lady who runs it is exceptionally nice.
Breakfast is plentiful, delicious and traditional Moroccan.
Walkable to everywhere.

Rabat

The place is beautiful and the staff are very nice and requested. However, we found the bathroom very small and because the sink is out, I think it loses a bit of privacy. You also hear the noise of what happens in the other room and it interferes with sleep.
There is a nearby restaurant that is very good and we went to dinner.

Very central

Great location, particular riad a bit dark, unusual layout of the rooms, a maze. Friendly and helpful staff. The structure is ancient and perhaps for this reason at times it does not seem clean. Overall good. Great breakfast and courtesy
