Beautiful hotel and the attention from their team is excellent!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, super close to the main square and restaurants, and for me, a differentiator has been the excellent attention from their staff: from the welcome, always attentive to answer questions, making the stay more comfortable, to a very quick check-out. It has an amazing terrace!

Excellent location

Excellent location, treatment, beautiful rooms, it has a very nice terrace, it is conditioned according to the place, I loved it, the restaurants are nearby and on the corner are the jeeps that take you on the tours, very safe

Wonderful experience!!!

The hotel is beautiful, its decoration makes it look modern, the staff's attention is very good, the breakfast is delicious and well served and very close to the main street.
We were a group of 16 and we almost filled it, so it was like we were at home! We will definitely return!!!

Luxury at 9,000 feet

The overall stay at the Mina Real was so magical, we really enjoyed our stayed, the hotel is fully renovated and very luxurious. One thing i need to highlight is that the hotel does not provide free breakfast as advertised which to us was not a big deal, but for some other guest might be, i mean, come'on food is so darn cheap in this little town.
Be aware that sometimes the CC machine does not work specially so my advise is that you bring your own Mexican currency, you are better off paying in cash than using your CC. The hotel has a magical deck which you can see almost half of down from there and it is very large and so convenient. Keep in mind that due to the high altitude you might experience some dizziness or out of breath feeling.
IMPORTANT: This hotel IS NOT handicap friendly or anyone with a physical disability since it does not have an elevator, you have use stairs to go to your suites. In fact most of the town is not handicap friendly due to the conditions, rocky roads and uneven pavement, in some areas the rock roads are slick and you might trip and fall so very extra careful when walking around.
For meal, there are plenty of places to choose from, but in our case, we used to dine in at the Meson de la Abundancia which is behind the Minal Real.
One last thing, this hotel does not have A/C nor heating system, A/C is not really needed since the town is so elevated, the temperature is always cool, but it can get very cool at night depends the time in the year you go, we went in March and the low at night was in the low 40's and during the day stays on the mid 50's, so bring some good thick pajamas, socks and hats to sleep comfy (only bad thing about hotel)

Very noisy

The hotel is very beautiful, the decor very nice and cozy but the room "Varones" is extremely noisy, just above the room there's a washer that is working from 9 am till 10 pm and then there's the water pump which turns on a lot so that the rooms can get water for their showers and toilette's. It really dampened our stay.
