We enjoy staying here when we are in Comitan

We enjoy this hotel when we have to overnight in Comitan, it is clean comfortable and so very cheap. The bed is very comfortable and it has all the basics we need. The room is a comfortable size, not a tiny tight space. Inside covered secure parking, which is essential for us.

Decent, and good location.

'Express' fits it well, it seems a touch impersonal and business-like. But it's clean, comfortable and very easy to find. It's main-drag location makes it perfect for getting in and out of Comitan quick, which is what I think most people will want. Our back-facing room was quiet enough. Great for seeing all the wonderful lakes and falls around Comitan. Not a good town for finding a decent restaurant. 15 min walk before there are any signs of life, around the central park. The local specialties run heavily to grease, lamb and organs. Very interesting, I'm sure, if your stomach can handle it... Plumbing created some weird smells and puddles, and I just don't like carpeted hotel room floors - but the room was well equipped and the beds were comfy.

Great place to spend the night!

We were in Comitan for only one day and needed a nice clean place to spend the night. Our driver pointed us here and we were very happy to have found this place. Again, the room is very spacious, free wifi for the kids, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. If we were back in town this would most definitely be in our list of options!

Beautiful property and conveniently located

This is a well-located, very nice hotel. Free parking, free wi-fi and an in-room safe. Rooms are large, carpeted and very comfortable. Love have a nice clean carpet---cold tile just doesn't do it for me in the bedroom. After checking two other hotels--one cheaper with tiny rooms and one more expensive with a smaller room and musty smell, we were delighted to check in to the Tierra Viva.

Al llegar no querian rewpetarme el costo por lo que hubo una duscusion con la persona en el lobby, ya que argumentaba que las tarifas vigentes eran las del lobby . Despues dudaba de mi tipo de habitacion que era un a king y nos hicieron esperar mas de una hora en lo que yo trataba de comunicarme con hoteles.com
