This is a budget hotel - but the value and service for the price cannot be beat. I stayed here for 6 nights when I was in Cusco and my single room was private, clean, private bathroom with plenty of hot running water and in a very convenient location. The area is convenient for the main attractions of Cusco - however it would not be suitable for everyone. The markets that run outside the hotel on both sides attract a lot of people and it’s busy and could be a little intimidating for some. I never felt anything but safe and the hotel staff seemed to have a good handle on potential problems. They even looked after my luggage for a whole day before I flew home and were always helpful and welcoming. I would recommend if you like a slice of the local life and are on a budget!

No hot water and nothing

The hotel is close to the center, but the streets to reach it barely have a sidewalk and there is horrible traffic. We spent three nights and two of them there was no hot or warm water. The HORRIBLE breakfast, the days we could had breakfast outside. The dryer came out on fire the first day. The beds were comfortable and clean but everything else very rudimentary. I recommend looking for another hotel in Cuzco.
