Samana Wasi bevindt zich zowel in een landelijke omgeving als aan een rivier in Yanque. Bij Thermale baden van La Calera en Cerro Humajala geniet je van het natuurschoon van de omgeving, terwijl Museo Yanque en Museo de Yanque hier twee van de culturele hoogtepunten zijn. In de omgeving kun je wateractiviteiten doen, zoals vissen. Je kunt ook van de buitenlucht genieten bij activiteiten als paardrijden, wandel- en fietsroutes afleggen of deelnemen aan een ecotour. Deze bed & breakfast heeft niet alleen een restaurant, maar ook een stomerij/wasserijservice en een wasserij. Gratis continentaal ontbijt en gratis parkeerplaatsen worden ook voorzien. Je vindt er ook een 24-uurs receptie, hulp bij uitstapjes/tickets en een tuin. Samana Wasi heeft 4 kamers. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een douche en gratis toiletartikelen. Dagelijks wordt een huishoudservice aangeboden en op verzoek is een strijkplank/strijkijzer beschikbaar. Extra bedden (toeslag) zijn ook beschikbaar.De onderstaande recreatieve activiteiten vind je ter plaatse of in de directe omgeving. Mogelijk zijn toeslagen van toepassing.

Very nice guest house with fantastic hosts!

We stayed at Samana Wasi in Yanque for 2 nights, during our trip to Colca Canyon. It's a small guest house with a beautiful patio, warm water in the bathrooms and clean bed rooms. The most remarkable thing for us was the warm welcome by the young couple who manages the place. They shared a lot of knowledge about the area and were true hosts for us, even when we did not feel due to altitude sickness. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice & authentic guest house in the Colca region

We have stayed at Samana Wasi for two nights in October 2015.
The guest house is run by the young couple Diana and Jean Carlos, the attentive and friendly hosts.
What we liked specifically:
- The relaxed place, with courtyard garden.
- The rooms are basic, with beautiful mural paintings and very clean.
- The personal touch of fresh flowers in the room was for me a big plus :)
- The small town Yanque, where you can grasp a bit of authentic (less touristy) live after the tour buses leave in the early morning. (They are there for the artisenal market.)
- The home cooking of Diana & Jean Carlos, wholesome and tastefully meals for a good price.
- The company of the hosts, they can tell you a lot about the area and what to do.
- And finally, one of the highlightsof our trip, the horseback riding Diana arranged for us.
Both of us never road on a horse, but the manage, just two house down the street, selected two easy going horses for us. They accompanied us on the beautiful tour they set out for us- highly recommended!
NB. The guesthouse has no wifi, the Happyface bar at town square does (& serves a nice hot chocolate and or a good selection of spirits and beers.)

A cozy home away from home! Don't miss the epic Colca Canyon!

A lot of people travel from Arequipa to see the condors in a day trip. I'm so glad I spent 3 nights in the canyon! It's an incredibly peaceful place with a lot to visit and Samana Wasi in Yanque is in the perfect home-base for all kinds of canyon adventures. The house has a traditional feel, incredibly fair price and really lovely staff. Diane was a traveller herself before settling here and shared all kinds of tips with me so I could make the most of my days in the canyon. I hadn't organized anything before arriving and upon her recommendation I saw beautiful Inka ruins, over 10 condors, visited the hotsprings, enjoyed great food, made a day trip to the beautiful town of Sibayo and took a full day horseback riding trip high in the hills! Much recommended!

A beautiful place!

The place is very relaxed and the hosts are very helpful with organizing trips.
There is hot water and they give you a hot water bottle to sleep even better.
The house is really clean also.
I loved the horse ride in the canyon!
The food is also excellent! I really enjoyed my stay.

Llegar a Sibayo, tomar una ducha calientita y cenar los manjares preparadas por las manos de damas sibayinas es lo mas mágico, luego salir y recorrer en paz y tranquilidad por el pueblo y poder apreciar lo majestuoso de esta parte de nuestro bello Perú.....recomendadísimo.
