Calm , Welcoming .... A place where you feel wonderfully good!!!

We spent two weeks in a fabulous place, quiet welcoming, with attentive hosts, always close to help you, available at all times.
Breakfast is a treat, with quality products and real fresh orange juice
The kindness of our guests, the pleasure of being quiet in the greenery 15 minutes from the main town. A wonderful discovery where I would return without fail.

A beautiful house in a dream place

The last night of my vacation I decided to spend with my children in Portugal and chose this house that I had seen recommended on the internet. And all I can say is that I would choose her a thousand times over.
Manuel is charming, as is his wife. They rehabilitated a house that was totally destroyed and built this accommodation that is decorated with exquisite taste.
It is located on the outskirts of Braganza in a quiet village called Formil.
The breakfast very good, all homemade and varied.
As Manuel rightly says, if you are looking for a place where "silence is heard", this is your place.
Susanna.

Excellent

An exceptional setting , a couple of hosts of unnamed kindness and very good advice , rooms decorated with great taste, a generous breakfast and a splendid vinotheque.
We highly recommend this accommodation.

Magical respite in a beautifully restored farmstead in the countryside with all the modern comforts

Magical respite in a beautifully restored farmstead in a tiny town of about 50 inhabitants. There are 6 rooms that sleep 2; are all stone, beautifully restored, with comfy beds and radiator heating. The owners have taken immense care to restore the entire property reusing original timbers and stone from the ruins of the former farmhouse, while creating a very modern and fully functional retreat in the Tras-os-Montes. Fantastic breakfast prepared daily using local ingredients, including some of the best olive oil you will ever taste. Manuel has an incredible depth of knowledge of the local area, and can discuss food, wine, local sites, local restaurants, and more. He recommended a driving tour for us that took us through the beauty of the wilderness of the area across the border into Spain (where we had lunch) and back again, taking about 4-5 hours at our pace. The next day, we drove 10-12 minutes into Braganca and visited the castle and military museum (fascinating!) which is inside the castle's tower. A perfect weekend trip!
