For.me the location was most important. On bus route to Gypsy Caves, which I wanted to visit. Ancient hotel, but enjoyed my stay and historic area.

Just one night to know that you have to return.

What can I say!!! From the arrival, where they ask you for the taxi receipt because the parking is a 15/20 minute walk uphill and it's 38ºC, we were already off to a good start. The frescoes on the walls are impressive, and the first thing you see is a smile at the reception. The room, well, what can I say!! From the door you can already see the Alhambra!!! which accompanies you permanently. You don't see antennas or satellite dishes, just curved tiles covering the surrounding houses. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and has the necessary gadgets so you don't have to open your toiletry bag. In our case, we had a welcome pack that we couldn't finish: fruit, chocolates, cava... and as a complement, the capsule coffee machine and some super cool cookies. And well, the other moment arrives, that of trying out the bed. Where do they buy the mattresses? Why can't I have such a comfortable bed at my house? The litmus test. I woke up without neck pain!!! and yes, looking at the Alhambra. I would stay to live there.

Charming old world hotel

This hotel is up a small alley right off the main drag. Lots of old world charm in its interior with a striking lobby. The personality also comes with some aging quirks — nothing was a huge deal, just don’t expect modern luxury. Note that you’ll have to carry your luggage up about 10 stairs to get up to the hotel (there is no porter to help you,) and you’ll need to park your car at a garage in town about 10 minutes away. A taxi is the only legal way to reach the hotel by car. They offer a nice breakfast for 12 euro per person.

Great lofted room for a family of four

Perfect location for exploring the older parts of the city. The staff were very helpful with all types of needs - even about Raton Perez as our son lost his tooth. The building is a great mix of old (frescos in the lobby) and new features (huge bathroom) and the breakfast was very filling before a day walking up lots of hills and staircases. Would recommend to family and friends.

The room was very clean! The air conditioning was adequate for very hot weather. The staff could not have been friendlier!
This is my second stay and I will definitely stay there again when in Granada!
