Hostel highly recommended.

We went as a family and took 2 rooms for the 4 people. Good establishment within the category of hostel. Super clean, good mattress, unbeatable location, restaurant downstairs tavern with good prices and all rich. It has an elevator that to get the bags is appreciated. In our rooms the old bathrooms but very clean and well preserved. I can not fail to comment on the treatment of the owner of the hostel that is unbeatable, a lord of those before. The hostel has a very nice temperature, you do not go cold at all.

It's not worth it, for a little longer you're in a soundproof hotel

Very noisy hostel, dragging chairs all the time and beatings.The kitchen, the deep fryer with very dirty oil came the black potatoes and the suckling pig

Could be good but......

Let's start with the positives. Good central location. Room was small but clean. Price was also reasonable. But. We arrived on a Saturday after a long cross country drive. We had been informed that El Rincon had parking. We found that this was on street parking a minimum of 500 metres away. We also expected a restaurant. On arrival we were told that it was not open on Saturday evening. We were told that the hotel was non smoking. The room had a faint smell of stale smoke. The corridors and reception desk area also reeked. Very unpleasant. Staff too busy smoking to be much help.

Great Location, Low Price

I stayed here for three nights in early June...found it on Trip Advisor and was well pleased with the location and the price. Room had one double bed and bath. Located on the front above the entrance with balcony. Had the window doors open part of the time and no noticeable noise. Just steps away from the plaza with good eats. Also, basic breakfast, rolls, coffee, jelly, fruit, in the hotel restaurant. There is a lift!!! so access to the rooms is not difficult.

The Hidden Corner of Mercado Chico

My wife and I have been visitors to Avila for many years and have stayed in the Hostal EL Rincon ever since it opened as an hotel about 11 years ago! the hotel is family owned and its speciality is fish and seafood, the Calamares is the best I have ever had along with a extensive meat menu, Ramon is the eldest son and nothing is to much trouble, his 2 brothers run the bar and restaurant and are very helpful, I would recommend anyone to visit Hostal EL Rincon.
