Really liked this place. It’s clean, comfortable and located in a very good spot in the city. The only little downside is that it was a little hard to find in the streets.
I’d definitely come back here again.

The host met me for early check in and helped me locate the building.
If you are trying to find it, locate the Jo Malone London store on Rambla de Catalunya, the entrance to the apartment building is next door.
The concierge of the building helped me with the lift, he was very friendly :)
The location is perfect , it is in the middle of everything for the Pg. de Gracia and surrounding areas, yet also quiet at night time, and feels very safe for a solo afab traveller.
Air con was €10 which I didn’t mind as the room was great value for money and the air con was powerful and quiet. It needs to be paid cash or bank transfer, I’d recommend bringing cash to pay because bank transfers cost money internationally (usually).
The shared bathroom was near the room, lockable, safe, clean and had hot water.
I travelled solo but I made friends instantly by eating at the bar at Tapas 24 (near enough to walk to) and going to bars afterwards, which were also near enough to walk to.
The balcony is a really peaceful place to enjoy breakfast.
I cannot recommend this place enough :)

Where to start? I’m not someone that leaves bad reviews, but unfortunately this is it!
A detailed list of cons:
-Would only restock toilet paper when I messaged (only put ONE out in apartment with 5 rooms)
-Only refilled hand soap dispenser when I asked.
-Hidden fees. AC is not included unless you pay €10 per day.
-MORE hidden fees: got charged an extra €125 for having an extra person. (it was a two twin bed room, of course there wasn’t just one person?)
-One bed had multiple long hairs on it, as if sheets hadn’t been changed or cleaned.
-bad communication: leading up, would take a few days to get a response back
-Sent over confused assistant who showed up 30 minutes late to check-in.
-Sent us new “house-rules” not in original description after trying to justify charging us more.
-no soup/cereal bowls in the kitchen
-poop in the elevator (what the heck???) which was never properly cleaned
-insanely loud construction on floor above in the morning (including weekends) so don’t plan on getting any sleep (even with earplugs it was unbearable)
-Clearly no care for guests.
-would be much better off in a hostel or somewhere further out of town for a better experience
-Overpriced with many hidden fees.
-AVOID!
Was trying to enjoy my vacation but was always worried that I’d get another message from her asking for more money. Overpriced for a small shared apartment with consistently bad interactions.
Pros:
-location was okay
-lil balcony was cute
-yup, that’s it

Cristina is very prompt with communication and Lana prepared our room nicely. The bed was comfortable but I wish the two pillows were in their own pillow cases. I also wish there was a USB port or an American electric plug to charge our phones. All of the wall receptacles are European and unfortunately we did not have an adapter for that. But all in all, it was a good experience. Thank you!

Excellent location in the Eixample, close walk to Gaudi houses and a major metro/train stop at Passeig de Gracia, made transport to/from the location very easy. The host on-site let us drop our bags early on the day of arrival due to a problem with our other luggage storage booking, we SO appreciate you Maria! Room (twin beds) was very comfortable and kitchen was adequate for our needs -- we could only get one of the stove burners to light, the other 3 wouldn't, but it was usable.
