Sercotel Caspe ligt in de wijk Eixample in Barcelona. De accommodatie is gelegen vlak bij een metrostation en vlak bij het strand. Winkelliefhebbers kunnen hun hart ophalen bij Passeig de Gràcia en La Rambla, terwijl natuurgenieters bij Playa de la Barceloneta en Park Güell van het natuurschoon in de omgeving kunnen genieten. Als je tijdens je bezoek wel zin hebt in een evenement of wedstrijd, kun je bij Camp Nou terecht. Of overweeg anders een avondje uit bij Parc del Fòrum. Dit rookvrije hotel beschikt over een restaurant, fitnessfaciliteiten en een bar/lounge. Wifi in gemeenschappelijke ruimtes is gratis. Stayed here for 3 nights
Came here for 3 nights with bed and breakfast .
Check-in time easy and friendly staff . We stayed in a double room which was clean and also had a mini fridge which we alway find handy . Provided with shower gels etc in bathroom. Air con in room . Room was clean .
Location was around . Location wise there took us around 20 minutes walk to the main centre however have got bars on the way which we enjoyed such as la wiskeria .
Breakfast - lots of choice including variety of breads , cakes , cereal , meats , fruits and continental . Coffee machine available and fruit juices . Enjoyed the fizz we could have also .
Can’t fault the quality and was great to start the day off .
Overall had a really lovely stay and would recommend . Only thing I would say is leading up to the stay I couldn’t access the portal for my booking which did cause slight anxiety . This was due to an upgrade however led to no issues for our hotel booking and stay .

The staff were really excellent and helped out when I had a tricky situation. Bed was super comfy as well. The neighborhood is good as well, with an easy walk to Sagrada Familia as well.

We had a great stay at Sercotel Carpe. The staff truly go out of their way to help with any questions or requests, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia if you enjoy exploring on foot. For attractions that are farther away, getting an Uber is quick, easy, and affordable.
Although we didn't book breakfast in advance, we decided to have it at the hotel three times during our stay because it was so good and definitely worth it. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

I do not recommend at all.
We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel, and I genuinely do not understand how it has such high ratings.
Shortly after arriving, we checked in at the reception and placed our backpack on a chair beside the front desk. About 15 minutes later, after reaching our room, we realized we had accidentally left it there. We immediately returned to the reception, but the backpack had already disappeared.
The reception staff simply told us they did not know what had happened and that there was nothing they could do. When we asked them to review the security camera footage, we were told that only the police could access it. We went to the local police station to file a report, only to be informed that it could take weeks before the investigation even begins. Since we were only staying for four days, this offered us no help at all.
What was most frustrating was the hotel’s complete lack of support. Our backpack was stolen from the hotel’s reception area, yet the staff showed no urgency, concern, or willingness to assist us. As a result, we lost valuable personal belongings, including prescription medication, clothing, sunglasses, and other important items.
To make matters worse, this hotel is nowhere near a 4-star standard. It feels more like a 2-star property. The rooms are extremely small, and our room had a frosted glass window facing an enclosed interior space, making it feel like we were staying in a basement or even a cage. There was no natural light or pleasant view whatsoever.
In addition AC doesn’t have set thermostat settling, either it runs continuously or you need to turn off manually otherwise it gets freezing, a few times at night I need to turn on and off as it got so cold and when I turned off, the room got so hot. It is a very old system that doesn’t have automated temperature control you can only set what fan speed you need and how cold you want from 4 different options. Even you get the first level, on 30 mins it gets so cold… and you need to turn it off the on again, it is very inconvenient.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Between the theft, the lack of assistance from the hotel, and the poor quality of the accommodations, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you value your belongings, your comfort, and good customer service.

I was present when you came down to report what had happened, and I witnessed our team explain that our lobby is an area open to the public, as it also houses our café and bar, so we do not have access control at the entrance, and that no member of our staff had removed the item. At that time, you were also asked whether the backpack contained anything valuable, and you confirmed it only had clothing inside; even so, we understand that losing any personal belongings is upsetting.
You were directed to the nearest police station to file a report, and it was explained that due to data protection regulations, we are not able to provide security camera footage directly, as this is a procedure that must be handled through the appropriate authorities. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind all our guests of the importance of not leaving belongings unattended in any public area, whether inside or outside the hotel.
