Lovely stay
Lovely 7 night stay with my teenage son and daughter.
Hotel was only 15 mins walk to the Main Street, and had lovely parks nearby . The hotel was very clean and our room had everything we need. The toiletries were a nice touch, The cleaners made sure our room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Always happy to answer any questions, and always greeting guests as you came in and out of the hotel.
The roof terrace is very nice with lovely views. The pool is small and there isn't many sun loungers but we always managed to get 3. You can get pool towels every day which was a nice touch.
Overall loved our stay . Thank you Hotel Catalonia.

4 NIGHTS AS A COUPLE
The Catalonia Hotel in Granada is quite good in terms of value for money.
The service at the front desk and at the pool bar is very good, very attentive staff.
The rooms are very well equipped, clean, and modern.
Very good LOCATION, next to all the bus stops needed to visit the Alhambra and the Albaicín neighborhood.
The bad thing is that the POOL is quite small, and the water is very dirty.
The SPA is also very good, for €16 per person for 1 hour, but you have to be careful, I left quite dizzy due to the strong smell of chlorine and a strong smell that the sauna gives off (a strong smell of wood and chemicals).
Regarding the DAILY CLEANING of rooms, the treatment from the woman in charge of coordinating and directing the room cleaning staff (housekeeper) did not seem good at all to me towards the clients; she swears that she does rounds every 10/15 minutes to supervise that all the rooms that have "clean room" hanging on the doorknob are clean. Which is a lie, two of the days we were at the Hotel they did not clean the room, and I had to go down to reception. Even so, she took the liberty of saying that we had not placed the sign on the doorknob outside correctly, when most of her workday she spends at reception "chatting."
The other cleaners are all lovely and do their job very well.
Finally, the Hotel has a PARKING lot next door, called "San Lazaro" where you can leave your car for about €18 per day.

Good Option
Decent hotel, about a 15-20 minute walk from the center. It is not worth booking it for the pool, since it is occupied all day by the same people, who never leave the lounge chairs free. The breakfast is very varied. In general, it offers good value for money.

Fantastic accommodation at the Catalonia Grenada.
Excellent accommodation at this first - class hotel, which included spotlessly clean rooms, most obliging 24 - hour reception personnel, & a delicious continental style breakfast that incorporated a varied selection of fruit juices, cheeses, bread etc.
With just a 20-min walk into the centre of the city, via the Cathedral, this is a highly recommendable hotel that is perfect in every way.
