Lovely restaurant with a stunning view

Were touring through the area and were hungry. Came here by accident and got surprised in a great way. Stunning views on the terrace, great view and very friendly service. Loved it. Good parking place in the shadow. Watched waterplanes training on the lake.

Place to avoid

We hired a menu of 28€ (90 people) and it was quite a hoax.Wrongly served .Scarce and poor quality food. Not recommended. I'm not even coming back for a beer.

The Best Rural Experience

I've stayed in lots of 'rural' cottages, but this one is top of the list. Found the Restaurant by accident, and after a lovely meal decided to stay in the cottage. Lovely open fireplace with wood provided. Views amazing, in the summer you could BBQ outside but too cold in the winter. Owner provided some drinks and food for us. Helps if you can speak Spanish.

What a find! Andalusian hospitality and food at its best.

El Molinillo Rural Complex is a gem nestled in the lovely olive grove-strewn hills of Andalucia, Spain. It has 10 small houses that can be rented by the night, week, or month. Each house can sleep up to six - two in a large bedroom with a queen bed, two in a queen bed in a loft, and two in a sofa bed. Each also has a kitchen stocked with cooking tools, plates, silverware, etc, a two-burner electric stove, and a full (European-sized) refrigerator. The setup is great, because you can come with your own groceries and cook when you want, or if you don't feel like cooking you can eat at the complex's restaurant - more on that in a bit. The complex also has a pool with a great view, and owners Marcos and Antonio can arrange for all sorts of outdoor activities - kayaking in the crystal blue reservoir nearby, four-wheeling, canyoning, hiking, rappelling, and more. The complex itself is in a protected mountain area locally called the "Pyrenees of the South," so between that and other mountain ranges in the area there are many options! Both Marcos and Antonio have spent years in the region and know the area well.
My husband and I stayed here for a week in August 2013; we cooked our own breakfast but generally had lunch (when we weren't out and about in the stunning Andalucian countryside and lovely nearby villages) and dinner at the complex restaurant. The restaurant has a solid array of delicious Andalucian and Spanish fare, along with brick oven-baked pizza, hamburgers, and the like. Plus, their tapas is the best we tried in the area... and we tried a lop of tapas!! The restaurant has a terrace that overlooks the nearby hills and reservoir - it's an ideal place to relax and unwind with some red wine and accompanying free tapas. If you are looking for a place to stay or just to eat in the area, this is it!

En general no está mal, pero solo tuvimos agua caliente el primer día, de solo 3, y había algunas humedades y deterioros. El restaurante si está bien , y el sitio bonito.
Buen acceso y aparcamiento.
