We LOVED our stay here!!

We stayed here for one night on our backpacking tour of the Basque Country. We LOVED it! The host was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He showed us the best parts of the town to see and even made us breakfast in the morning! He also phoned a bus company to confirm the bus time I had seen online just to check that we could leave safely! We will definitely return if we are ever in Lekeitio again and we cannot recommend this place enough!
One word of advice tho- do let them know in advance if you don't speak Spanish! It's a husband and wife team but he doesn't speak much English. (Not a problem for us but it might be for some)

Disappointed

Amazed by the good comments we decided to stay at this hostel. The comments on the different websites do not correspond to reality. We highlight the excess noise, the poor condition of the mattresses and the absence of basic products at breakfast such as tomato or oil. To this we must add that it is located at the entrance of the town (first house), so you have to walk quite a bit to get to the center of the town (one and a half km). Another drawback, parking. You cannot park on the street of the hostel. It is true that there is a free parking lot about 400 meters away, but now in summer it is always full. Parking the car is a real odyssey. It is not cheap at all for the services it offers. Not recommended

Didn't like

The rooms were not comfortable, the bathroom of one of the room was located out of the room and we didn't like that point. Besides this, the breakfast wasn't great.... The owners didn't react with professional matters when we had an inconvenience during our stay

Great place with dorm and private rooms

Great value for money for a lovely room. They also have dorm rooms. Breakfast included (coffee, juice, fresh fruit, toast, jams).
Relaxed hostel with lovely owners.
Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Lekeitio.

Nice Hostel in Lekeitio

Really nice hostel with breakfast included. The staff is very nice and helpful, he told us some restaurants that were good around the city center. It is not far from the city center, 10 min walk. The rooms were nice and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well equiped. It's a great hostel to stay when you are in Lekeitio.
