A slightly odd place. It’s not like a standard hotel. Each “room” consists of a garage with a typical hotel room above it, you drive round and into your private garage, close the electric door and go up a private stairs to a small landing outside your room, there is a door into the overall building but this is for staff only. Guests always come and go via their garage. The hotel doesn’t provide any food or drink options but within a few minutes walk is a 24/7 motorway service station with a very nice cafe servicing good quality and value food. There is also a small shop attached. It was a very convenient and secure parking for our motorbikes and overall a pleasant stopover.

If you are a Pilgrim walking the Camino, avoid this Motel at all costs. You are locked in your room by management. No real emergency exit except by walking downstairs attached exclusively to your room into a small garage that is locked also. Must jump up and try to grab the emergency disconnect that’s attached to the motor and then physically lift the metal garage door. None of this was listed in the hotel description. Turns out this was a hookup Motel, normally rented by the hour. Men bring their Mistresses there by car, honk the horn and then management opens the garage door to drive in. Then management remotely closes the garage door to maintain anonymity for the participants. Will definitely be requesting a refund when we return home from our Camino de Santiago.
