Lack of respect and verbal violence, a hostel adrift.
I stayed from March 1 to 2 last, I could not sleep at night because of the terrible noise that came from the upper floor, however there was no one from the hostel to talk to or to claim for this situation.
The hostel fraudulently declares to booking.com that I never stayed with them to avoid claims through said platform.
The Wifi did not work, there was also no one to complain to.
It was a cold winter night and the window didn't close properly, letting in cold air from outside, and I couldn't get an extra blanket either.
I was from 7 in the morning until 10:30 waiting for someone to come from the hostel since I wanted to leave my luggage in storage to do a city tour on foot, at 10:30 a young man enters who claims to be in charge, (the The night before I had been received by a middle-aged lady). I ask him for his name since he was speaking to me improperly and he refuses to give me his name. I explain that I want to leave my luggage in storage and that during the night I couldn't sleep because of the intense noise that came from the upper floor and that I couldn't find anyone from the hostel during the early hours of the morning. At this point he gets visibly upset and he starts yelling at me that they are not going to store my luggage and laughs at me in my face.
I ask him his name again, he yells at me that he doesn't have time to talk to me and leaves.
As he walks down the stairs I ask him again if he can tell me his name and he starts laughing out loud and yells at me that he's in a hurry.
I keep my bags there and lose a city tour that I had contracted for not having any place available to leave my luggage.
A total lack of empathy with the guest, a terrible night without being able to sleep and hours waiting for the hostel staff to receive ridicule and yelling in response.
Worst Booking.com experience in years and worst stay on my 35 day trip to Spain.
