The room was small but comfortable. Rooftop restaurant and pool was welcoming. We had a mix up during check in where front desk staff told both my partner and I that breakfast was included in the room cost (18 euros per person) During check out we were told by a different front desk staff that breakfast was actually not covered. We paid the cost of the breakfasts, but wished it had been more clearly communicated to us.

Could have been 5/5 but 2 major ‘buts’
I loved the room & the hotel however when a hotel says it has air conditioning & the room temperature is set at 23C then this is a lie. We ended up asking for help & the response was them giving us a fan to help cool the room down but 23C setting when it’s 34C outside is unforgivable.
The website pool pictures have chairs by the pool but there were none when we visited, another misrepresentation. The pool area is a restaurant with a pool with no furniture by it. Not inviting at all.
Nice welcome & nice gift in room as I have Silver Melia status.

horrible service never again
Clean rooms, basic but service upon check in was painfully slow. We got there at 6 pm. A front desk person checked us in then disappeared to the back of the counter and didn’t come back and left our passport on the table. Another guy checking another couple apologized and did check us in but it’s weird cause it wasn’t busy and there was only one other couple checking in at the same time. Would understand if it was busy. Also the staff was indifferent to us like we were an inconvenience. Would recommend to spend time somewhere else where they appreciate your business. I understand services are slow in Spain and don’t mind it specially if it’s obviously busy but this is a little ridiculous.

Rooftop to avoid
This review concerns the Rooftop only, we did not stay at the hotel.
The service is totally inefficient, we waited more than half an hour for a drink menu that never arrived even though the room was almost empty. The waitress who greeted us seated us and then forgot about us. Yet she made multiple trips in our direction to bring a fork here, a napkin there, busy preparing empty tables and forgetting the only customers present. We ended up leaving the premises without having been able to consume anything at all, just like another less patient couple who left before us.
It's a shame in hot weather to have a waitress who stirs up so much air and not feel the benefits of it. On the other hand, we were blown off!

We had a great stay here during our time here in Zaragoza. Nice rooms with good location and very good breakfast!
