We had a fantastic stay during our round trip. Price is so reasonable. Rooms are so comfortable. Guests can use their kitchen for a reasonable price and its clean and modern. Mr.Baskaran has provide a good service. Highly recommend

Place like a home
We stayed two nights at this hotel; Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes to central bus station. Rooms are clean and can be recommended. They will cook for you if you provide foods. Hotel provides free bed tea, and filtered water. They served us String hoppers (Sri Lankan food) with cuttle fish curry and fried prawns for dinner. The taste was amazing. You can buy fresh see foods for cooking near to the hotel.
Further, you can discuss with owner and arrange car service. If you are looking for Car parking; Only one car can be parked in hotel premises. If you have more vehicles to park contact owner. He will arrange. He is always looking to help people who has no idea about the area. So just talk with him and arrange.
It is worth for money and can be recommended.

Lovely stay at Nest Inn
We enjoyed our stay at Nest Inn. Just a few 100 meters from the Uppuveli Beach and 1.5 km. To the main street of restaurants (you can walk along the beach the whole way). The rooms were clean and the host was very friendly, he made a delicious breakfast. The owner who also arranged car service to Arugam Bay was a nice guy.
We would reccomend it at any time, very nice place!

Clean and friendly but a little expensive
We stayed at the Hotel for 2 nights at the End of August in a two-bed-room with AC.
Positive:
- You can use the private beach access from a hotel nearby so it's a two minute walk to the beach
- The people who run this place, 2 old friendly men, are super cute and helpful even though they hardly speak English. It was great having them around
- The breakfast was HUGE and affordable. We had fresh fruit, French toast, curry rotis (spicy!), fried eggs and toast with fruit jam plus tea/coffee and water
- The room was clean and cosy and the AC did its job well
Negative:
- I think the rooms were too expensive. We had to pay 5$ per extra per night for the AC. This wasn't clear before we arrived
- The owner of this place wanted us to pay the full price in advance, probably because he expected us to leave early when we find out that we were kind of far away from Uppuweli Centre
- As mentioned we found that the hotel was quite far away from "the action". It's between Trincomalee and Uppuweli so you need a Tuktuk to get to either of these places
We would recommend this place if it's okay for you to spend a little more and you can live with being not directly in the city center. The staff makes up for it.
