Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica

We went to Grand Bahia in Jamaica Oct 3 - 10th 2020. It was stressful to get the Covid results and the Authorization done in time. When we arrived at the airport, our hands were sprayed and our fevers were checked. It was very organized and ran smoothly. Our fevers were checked again at the hotel. All fine. We had to wear a mask everywhere except for the beach and when we were in the pool. Most of us are used to wearing masks. It didn't ruin our trip. We couldn't leave the hotel but we took a snorkel trip from the beach which was amazing. To two of the guys that made our trip, THANK YOU. Christopher and Andrew at the Privilege bar at the beach were amazing. We looked forward to seeing them everyday. It made me sad to leave them. I will always cherish their friendship. We were happy we did not cancel. Love to all. Cheryl & Tom Dickinson from Missouri. Plus our 2 Granddaughters.

Disaster service, disaster meals, arogant waiters incl. FB manager

We do not complain too much, but experience on terrace of the restaurant of Hotel Galant in late May of 2020 was a real disaster. Services you would never expect. All meals were not hot incl. soups. No cutlery provided we had to ask for it several times. Waiters not friendly at all. I assume drink should come first and some have not come even after one hour, they never came. One main dish never came. We asked the FB manager for any kind of compensation, he was arogant and said we ate the meal that never came.
Lednice is a nice town with not too many restaurants - but please never go there. You rather eat fastfood or go to the small local pubs. Such arogant approach I have never seen in my life. All meats must have been frozen before corona started and now when they prepared it it tasted really bad. I recommend everybody dont go to this hotel restaurant to eat nor to drink. Do not stop there at all.

Just amazing

My partner booked this for a surprise for us as we were on holiday. The hotel is lovely, bedroom was stunning and very big. Staff were very helpful and professional. My partner ordered me some gorgeous flowers for our first year anniversary which they did for him and also my partner arranged for us to have the spa room for an hour to use the jacuzzi and sauna which was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Average hotel with pool, close to centre

Hotel Galant is located really close to city centre, the Lednice Castle and castle park, ten minutes walk from bus station.
Rooms quite spacious, clean, the same is valid for bathroom. Hotel pool was clean, big enough, with a lot of sunbeds and free towel service. Breakfast tasty with a good choice.
Contras: no AC in rooms, quite a pity for 4* hotel and for such a price. The balcony in some rooms are pretty outdated and in urgent need of refurbishment as can be seen from the pictures.

Thank you for your extensive review. We are glad you were happy with our services. About half of our rooms have air conditioning. Before the next visit I recommend you to specify the air conditioning requirement for the reservation. We will be happy to assist you. As far as the balconies are concerned, the reconstruction is planned in the autumn months.

I LOVE this place

This hotel/area is such hiden gem. Food, wine, a lot of history there. We keep coming back to this hotel whenever we can as we got married here 4 years ago and what a party that was! I would definitelly recomend!
