Amazing place to stay

A beautiful clean hotel in the centre of Ostravice. Food was delicious, staff did their best to make us feel like home.
Our room was tidy, clean and spacy.
Within the hotel, there is also a market, where you can buy whatever you need.
I really recommend to stay there. Thank you

Be inspired and dream big

I felt lucky taking part in the conference organized at he Freud Hotel in Ostravice. We had really good presentations inviting us to be more creative at work. We were lucky to be offered a guided tour throughout the hotel named after the popular psychoterapist Sigmund Freud whose work was closely connected with analysing human dreams. And this hotel is really a dream fulfuilled being also a sort of art gallery and a special port for sport fans and even for new weds.

noisy, couldn't sleep

The hotel is nice, clean and well decorated.
Unfortunately, on the day of our arrival there was a wedding celebration in the hotel, which meant we suffered from loud and noisy music till early in the morning.
We went to the reception to see if they could help but were answered that there is nothing they can do to help. We actually didn't understand why the hotel sold a room if there is a celebration taking place and they know that other guests couldn't enjoy their stay.
We slept for about 2 hours and left the hotel exhausted and with a throbbing headache. It ruined the whole next day of our trip.

Nice hotel to stay in this area handy for station good rooms some with Balconys overlooking mountains have stayed here 4/5 times always enjoyed our stay very helpful staff great for tourists exploring the area

Beautiful new hotel in Ostravice

Stayed here for the first time but would definitely come back again. We really liked the design of the hotel, especially the rooms (we stayed in a family appartment, which was big enough for our family, very nice modern design of both the room and bathroom, comfortable beds). Hotel is located right next to the main road however our room was oriented on the other side where tennis courts are and the room was very quiet. It is very close to a numerous touristic routes to Lysa hora etc. without the need to drive.
There is a cosy Caffe with decent selection of coffees right in the main bulding so you can enjoy a cup of good coffee with some homemade cake in the afternoon (we went there everyday also after our breakfast as the coffee served for breakfast wasn't really so tasteful).
Breakfast was very simple, not so much variety and our feeling was rather mixed (the first morning we came at 9 and it was already nothing to choose from, it got much better the following day).
Lunch/dinner: I'd say average however they have a decent selection of wines to choose from.
Service in the restaurant/Caffee was very good, staff were friendly and polite.
All in all it is a good place to stay in this area and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for both business/private trips to Ostravice.
