Great little place in a great location... however, the stairs are a real killer!

Stayed at the Hotel Le Franklin twice during my recent visit to France. It's located in the Suburb of Passy in the 16th district of Paris. It's a lovely old hotel with lots of charm and history. The rooms are located on top of a cafe, which offers great food, coffee & cold beer. There are also some other dining options nearby. The hotel is only an easy 10 minute stroll to the Eiffel Tower & reasonable walking distance to most of the other major attractions in Paris. I stayed on the second and third floors, and whilst the forms have lots of old-world charm & new bathrooms.... the stairs are an absolute killer!!! I would suggest anyone who was old or infirm would not be able to get their bags up or down the steep narrow stairs. That is my only criticism

Welcome and qualities!

Sober and clean place, quality cuisine and excellent services!
The room is large and has a bathroom.
Very friendly, I felt comfortable right away.
I will return with pleasure for a very next stay as I really liked my stay and slept very well there.

We found our base in Paris here

This tiny boutique like hotel is very parisian in the best understanding of the word. Small, functional and clean rooms reached by a narrow Stairway and located above the café & restaurant Franklin. The hotel is located on the charming and vibrant Place de Passy only 300m from the open Passy metro station and offering typical views on the square from all Windows. We had no heating in the room but helpful staff quickly came to our rescue with Electric heat blowers. Plenty of hot water for long showers. Well functioningTV. In spite of the bar downstairs quiet in the room.
We only took breakfast and refreshments in the restaurant and all was correct and tasty.
We have finally found our base in Paris for our future visits to the best city in the World.

A very nice address

The Hotel is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the room is spacious and the staff is available and charming.
There is no elevator but the rooms are very reasonably priced. Our room overlooked a small street at the back so very quiet.

Une pause à Paris

Une pause agréable entre Passy et Trocadéro.
Une chambre plutôt sympa en plein Paris, mais au 3ème étage sans ascenseur avec un escalier raide... et bac à douche à moitié bouché: il faut attendre 3 à 4 minutes que ça s'écoule lentement pour pouvoir continuer à se doucher.
Sinon, très propre.
pour 1 nuit, c'est bien.
