Moxy Cork great for tourists

The location of this hotel is fantastic for tourists. Allowed to check into room early which was a bonus. No wardrobe in room and only 5 hangers so bring some with you. No excuse for having no drawers in room, a couple of bedside lockers with drawers would solve that problem. That said the room was really comfortable, spotlessly clean and had air conditioning. Self service Buffet breakfast was great, you can have as little or as much as you like. Complimentary cocktails a nice touch. This hotel is ideal for short stays.

We appreciate your comments regarding the storage and number of hangers in the room. Our rooms are intentionally designed to be compact and minimalist, without traditional wardrobes and drawers, although we understand that additional storage would be useful, particularly for longer stays.

Welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a great size. The room was tidied and reset every day of our trip. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking into the city centre, with pubs and cafes near by. Also, if you’re looking to do a day trip to Blarney Castle, the bus stop behind the hotel goes directly there, making it easy to navigate.

Really pleasant two night stay for a friends wedding, staff were very friendly, amenities were good and the beds were very comfy! Breakfast was good too.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location. Excellent for walking anywhere in the heart of Cork. Rooms were extremely small with no amenities. No iron or ironing board. Not even a closet. Manhattan hotel rooms are bigger. We had nowhere to open our suitcases.
The staff at the reception desk/bar weren’t very friendly or welcoming. We had a gentleman that served us late night at the restaurant who was fantastic and very hospitable. Otherwise I would never consider staying here again.

The hotel was great, the location was amazing, the staff were really good except for girls making the complimysry cocktail, I asked what was in it and she shoved a plastic holder that was on the counter in front of me and that was my answer, the cocktail itself was like a drink of water with miwadi in it, so I'm still not sure if there's alcohol in it. Apart from that I cannot fault it and will definitely be back. The staff on check in and check out were excellent
