Go to W Rome!!
We arrived early and although we had to wait for our room for an hour, we were able to access it 3 hours before the official 3pm check in time. We used the ‘wet deck’ to wait. This is a boujie roof top small pool/bar which must be linked to Martini (I am assuming this) as it is called Terraza Martini and there is Martini advertising and branding everywhere including on the bar / cushions / signage. The service is great with bar snacks and drinks available. There are around 12 plush sunbeds and sets of furniture to sit at but only 2 of the sunbeds offer any shade from the sun. There are other sun umbrellas over the furniture however it was windy so they were unable to be used when we were there. Pool is small but does the ‘cool off ‘trick. Soft music plays. A fabulous place to unwind and cool off after all the boiling hot sightseeing. There is also a pizzeria on the roof but we didn’t use it although it looked fab.
Rooms- we were very happy- we had a standard double - 2 windows so plenty of light, huge bed, well stocked and well lit vanity / sink unit and a separate shower (strong and hot) and toilet. Huge TV. Loved this room and all the attendants were polite and helpful. Gave us complimentary water every day and complimentary water bottles to use as well. Loved the GHD hairdryer a great touch.
Breakfast- we sat outside in the quad - buffet was delicious as was the served food and service was excellent, def worth the add on charge and we paid before arrival for a €10 pp discount (approx).
Concierge - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and helped us call taxis which came asap and also booked one to the airport for the morning of departure. Very polite and welcoming.
Atmosphere of the hotel 5/5.
This hotel is a win as it was also very good value for money for Rome mid summer. Location was 5 minutes from the Spanish steps so pretty central.
We booked this not knowing and it was a bit of a stab in the dark as there are thousands of hotels in Rome and we felt we had definitely hit the jackpot. Would 100 % recommend and would 100% go back. Thank you W.

The W Rome was such a beautiful hotel and it exceeded every expectation. The room was very spacious, staff was 5-star and the amenities were on point. We will be back to this hotel someday when we come back to Rome.

Exceptional service!!
We arrived around 830am to the hotel. We were greeted by Guiseppe, the welcome desk manager. He thanked me for being ambassador and told me we had been upgraded. Our suite was almost ready. While we were waiting he had coffee sent to us.
I told him we are celebrating my wife’s birthday. He said he was gonna have something special sent up to the suite.
Hotel itself feels fresh and lot of energy. The courtyard for breakfast is fantastic. They also have a roof top pool along with a pizza bar.
We are heading off to Tuscany and then back here before we head out on a cruise. Would definitely book W Rome again.

From the moment we arrived at the W Hotel, Rome, it was clear we were in excellent hands. The overall stay felt elevated by the service team’s genuine care, professionalism, and attention to detail—truly outstanding performance throughout our time in Rome.
In particular, we want to recognize Marco, Raffaela, Luca, Giuseppe,Manoud . Their warmth, responsiveness, and dedication made a lasting impression. The Concierge team delivered exceptional service and support. They helped us maximize our time throughout the city, ensuring our plans ran smoothly and every moment felt well considered. They were instrumental to our trip. They offered support to us weeks in advance of our trip, booking multiple reservations, excellent recommendations for food and gelato, and even helping us locate our Italo train tickets that we had accidentally lost by them personally calling Italo on our behalf (and we had not even checked in yet), they went above and beyond for us. Our deepest gratitude to Flaviano, Omero, and Danilo. Without them our trip would not have been the same.
