The dormitory room is spacious and does not feel oppressive

I stayed in a dormitory. I am glad that it has light-shielding curtains, the locker is large, and the place other than the private space in the dormitory room is spacious and there is no pressure at all. There is also a laundry room available for self-catering.
The caveat is that there is an additional charge for late night check-in. The Owner was Japanese and spoke Japanese

Excellent

Privacy is good, the toilet is clean, the bed is large, the stairs will have a reflective line when the room lights off, the price is affordable, the room floor is a little dirty, the air will be cold.

Sole traveler

The location is nice for traveler to have a short visit of Taipei. It is value of price and the room is clean and tidy. however, it is a bit hot since there is only one air conditioner in room and there is no fan inside.

Nice decorated hotel but the facility are so limited ..

We passed by this hotel many times while we were in Taipei and we liked the interior designs. So finally we decided to stay here for 2 days. For budget hostel, I think their interior design is superb! They make it like home, they pay attention to every corner.
They charged you for everything. They didnt provide shampoo and soap in the shower room, you have to ask to receptonist and they gave you for free. But they charge you for anything else like toothbrush, conditioner, towel rental and any toiletries.
The wifi signal is very bad! Only 1 or 2 bar signal, and if one person in the room was connected successfully, the rest weren't able to connect.
The most ridicilous thing was they shut down the light in the room every night after 11 PM. They only shut down the light in the hallway where we put out luggages, we still can use other lights in the room. However, it is so difficult when we want to open our luggages when the light was off. So we call the receptionist to turn on the light.
And they didn't turn on the light automaically in the morning. Again, we have to call the receptionist to turn it on.
This light things are quite bothersome for me.
