Nice room for the price

Upon arrival we were a bit unsure from the street view, but once inside we were pleased with the hotel and our room. All was reasonably clean and in good condition. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nothing special but for the price it was fine. We only stayed 1 night so we didn't need anything very special.

Great Location and Value

As others have said, this hotel is well situated in the heart of Lyon halfway between the Bellecour and Ampere Metro stations. The Staff are very kind, helpful, and attentive. From the Front Desk to those who serviced the Breakfast Buffet. Breakfast has something for everyone -- cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, plus the cheeses, meats, cereals, and yogurts. Very good value for the money.

Perfect!

The hotel is very well located for discovering Lyon. Easy access to the train stations and near the subway stations.
The hotel is clean and smiles and kindness are present from the moment you arrive. The room is spacious and clean as well. The equipment is perfect (hair dryer, coffee/tea available). Cold drinks in the fridge, quiet and functional air conditioning.
The bed is comfortable.
Full breakfast with something for everyone!
In short, we will be back!

The A/C was ok, it didn't get very cold but it was better than outside. The main issue was that the A/C leaked and it leaked right on our beds in the middle of the night so it was not a great experience. The location was fine, but in retro spect I would have stayed north of place belacour. at least it was a quiet location at night.

Basic, mattress on floor

Very basic, the location was shady after dark. Would not recommend for single travellers. Double room had a mattress on the floor, no bed frame. Not everyone's cup of tea. Just a room to sleep in. No amenities to speak of. Near Bellecort plaza an close to public parking.
