Do not come here!
Terrible...full of immigrants and muslims, I don't feel safe sleeping with them because the muslims are known for thiefs and stealing tourist stuff...I had that exprrience in Germany in Köln 2024. No tourist was in this hostel and worse is the area is all immigrants, the place even has no clean toilet and the bunker is awful....just a slight move and it makes a huge noise you cannot sleep. The staff is nice and awesome but the room and interior? Damn awful to the core.

The hotel fails to meet minimum standards, with inadequate hygiene and no hot water facilities. A strong odour of cigarettes lingers on all floors, despite smoking being prohibited. Mould is also a prevalent issue.
The hostel does not provide hot water for showers, basic sinks, or kitchen basins. Residents are forced to take cold showers due to the lack of hot water facilities. The toilets are often left in an unsanitary condition, despite a cleaning route with three staff members working throughout the day (morning, afternoon, and night). Toilet paper is often left on the flooded floor, rendering it unusable. Management has made no effort to address the hot water issue, even after maybe a month of stay at the hostel or to offer an reimbursement for lack of hot water which is the bare minimum for any hostel/hotel.

Disgusting. Gross. Terrible. Dangerous.
The hostel is a dustbin, and there's a pathetic employee called Tiago who is
an unprofessional, ignorant, rude creature. The Lisbon municipal corporation must shut down the place ASAP, and GNR must check the kind of place it is. Many complaints have already been filed. Hopefully, this appalling building shuts down by middle of October/24.

WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE - BEWARE OF BED BUGS!
The worst experience of my life in terms of accommodation. I haven't seen anything like it in 10 years of constant travel. The hostel is infested with BED BUGS / Ticks / Bed Bugs / Punaise de lit. I was bitten by insects numerous times and all over my body. I saw other people complaining about this problem at the same time as me, meaning most rooms are already infected. The review pages here and on Booking show that this infestation has been occurring since May 2024. And yet, the hostel is not taking any action to resolve it. They just welcome new guests as if everything was fine. This is a disregard for the guest's health. This place needs to be closed down and the entire hostel pest-treated! And they still don't reimburse the amount paid to stay in this nightmare in the form of a hostel. I want to find some kind of Health Surveillance to report this hostel to the Government for being unhealthy!
I got the women's room and it had a curtain. Good privacy. The organization of the beds and locker was ok. The problem started because it was the only room with a metal key (other than a magnetic card). Which prevented me from accessing most of the women's bathrooms that only opened with a card. Every day I had to return/pick up this damn key from the counter - bad logistics, since each of the girls in the room should have a key just for themselves. And finally, it was on my bed where I found several BED BUGS/Ticks/Bedbugs/Punaise de lit. I was bitten by insects numerous times and all over my body. I changed rooms and ended up in the third bed of a tri-bed. Its metal structure is completely unstable, loose and noisy. Going down the stairs is a nightmare, it's very high, I almost dismantled the damn triliche trying to get down
External door security with code was OK. Security in the room lockers is rubbish - don't even allow total locking even using a padlock. One of the rooms I went to didn't even have a locker, desk, nothing... just the bed

Bathroom barely has hangers, showers leak and wet the entire floor, curtains that don't do anything. Smell of garbage in the bathroom all day long. I had to use the men's bathroom several times because I didn't have the card that gave access to the women's bathroom. In addition, there are many more men's showers than women's. Nothing makes sense in this hostel.
